Dawn is private, evidence-based, and available anytime for adults 18+ in the United States. 

Is Dawn meant to replace therapy, medication or crisis support?

Dawn is not a replacement for professional help and it cannot diagnose or treat mental health disorders. For needs beyond Dawn’s scope, we encourage you to please consult a licensed mental health professional.

Dawn is also not designed to provide emergency support. If you’re in crisis, please call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Trained counselors are available 24/7 to help. Do not wait to get the professional help or medical care you need.

Dawn includes built-in safety mechanisms to recognize potential crisis situations and surface appropriate crisis resources when needed. But if you ever feel unsafe or at risk, reach out for professional help right away.

Your mental wellbeing is deeply personal, and so is your personal information. Protecting it is our highest priority. Dawn is private by design, which means your data always stays between you and Dawn — secure, confidential, and free from judgment. Your data is safeguarded by the industry’s most rigorous standards, including HITRUST r2 and SOC 2 Type II.

Do I need to integrate my calendar and/or wearable for Dawn to work?

You don’t need to connect your calendar or wearable for Dawn to work at full capacity. Those integrations simply help Dawn better understand your schedule and activity patterns, which allows for more precise, real-time support. Even without them, Dawn will still reach out proactively to help you stay balanced throughout the day.
