Once the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Miz and John Morrison have argued for years over who became the Marty Jannetty of the pair. The WWE Universe may have received the answer to that question tonight. Bashing JoMo’s leg with a steel pipe before The Prince of Parkour even entered the ring, The Awesome One got a big advantage early and proceeded to punish his opponent with a kendo stick. Although he battled valiantly, Morrison was deemed unable to compete after being knocked for a loop by a Skull Crushing Finale on the entrance ramp — the same maneuver The Miz used to put R-Truth out of action last Monday. As The Prince of Parkour’s broken body was stretchered away, a remorseless Miz grabbed a microphone and promised that his brutal attacks will not end tonight

NEW YORK – United States Champion Dolph Ziggler retained his title despite a game effort from John Morrison. But the showoff was humbled by Long Island’s Zack Ryder following the match.

The arrogant Ziggler engaged in a tough back and forth battle with The Prince of Parkour. He earned the pinfall after viciously attacking Morrison’s vulnerable neck before finishing him off with a crushing Zig Zag. With two matches in one night at Survivor Series less than a month after doing the same at Vengeance, the blond-coifed showoff has been convincing the WWE Universe that he just might be as good as he claims to be.

After WWE.com announced that Christian pulled out of Team Barrett at Survivor Series due to an injury, Vickie Guerrero revealed that Dolph Ziggler will be taking the sketchy Superstar’s place on the squad. Apparently, the United States Champion was trying to stay in one piece for Sunday night as Vickie interfered early in the match by slapping Mason Ryan across the face. But before the cocky competitor could get out of the arena, he was tossed back in the ring by John Morrison and driven into
the mat by the massive Welshman.
