If I forget you, Jerusalem… (Psalms 137:5)
Since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, prayer has replaced animal sacrifices. Through prayer a Jew pours out his heart to his Creator thanking Him for His many kindnesses and asking Him for help in his daily tasks. One of the main goals of prayer is to remember Jerusalem daily and ask for it to be rebuilt. That's why wherever a Jew finds himself he has to pray facing Jerusalem as "Jerusalem is the light of the whole world".
Sometimes when we find ourselves in unfamiliar places or while travelling, it's unclear to us how exactly are we supposed to daven. That's when a comfortable application "Jew Compass" will come to help by determining exactly the accurate direction we need.
It's our dream that this app will help many Jews to pray correctly and may we merit to see the rebuilding of Jerusalem speedily, in our days.
