Exactly one year ago today (the 25th), amidala_thrace posted her last lj entry. I know it wasn't until March that she passed away, but it still feels weird not to have any direct closure.

But, I guess regardless of what was true and what was made-up, I still miss her.

Looks like I'm going to have to start watching Eureka. According to the Hollywood Reporter, James Callis will being joining the cast for the show's 4th season. I've only seen maybe one episode but his role sounds like a lot of fun and I think I'll start watching the series to get fired up for his return to Syfy.

So who here watches Supernatural? I JUST started season one and I already think I like it. Jeffery Dean Morgan automatically makes any show better. I just hope I can watch without only seeing Dean from the Gilmore Girls. ;)

And Tyra (Adrianne Palicki) from Friday Night Lights is in the Supernatural pilot? Awesome.

Caprica filming location pics!

A few weeks ago, Caprica filmed a few scenes for their sixth episode in a neighborhood near brittania's apartment. We were lucky to catch a few pictures and here they are. WARNING! Spoilers for Caprica ahead:

Everyone on set was super nice and allowed us to watch and take pictures. I was wearing my BSG sweatshirt I wore when The Plan filmed next to my apartment in the fall (Pics and a recap can be seen here) and I had a couple crew members give me props for it. Paula Malcomson who plays Amanda Graystone was on location filming and we were told Eric Stoltz had filmed a scene in a different location early in the morning. Oh, we were also told they were filming for the sixth episode.

Sort of reminded us of the memorial wall in BSG.

According to a PA this scene was going to involve a lot of extras and be shot in the late afternoon/early evening.

They shot in this neighborhood for about 5-6 hours but never really shut down traffic, which should make for some interesting editing.

The director of this episode is Wayne Rose (pictured above). He directed Blood on the Scales, Guess What's Coming to Dinner, Dirty Hands, and all the webisodes and flashbacks. He also was a 2nd unit director for 62 episodes. Here's his IMDB page.

Happy Dollhouse Friday!!!! I've been hearing good things about the season 2 premiere so I'm pretty excited to see where this season takes us (not to mention this episode has the beautiful Mr. Jamie Bamber guest starring).

I started following Dennys Ilic on twitter you might remember him as the guy who took those amazing BSG behind the scenes photos:

Sooooo this morning I got up and was messing around the internet, I put my computer down to get something from the kitchen and I tripped over the cat and stepped hard on my computer screen. I BROKE SPARKY!!!!! I called my parents and brittania to see if they had any suggestions. I took the computer and Brit's old one to the store to see if I could get the hard drive switched over to a different computer. But there was really nothing they could do besides tell me to buy a new hard deck (I don't even know what that means) and they would transfer the information over. So I'm writing this post by having connected the computer to the TV, My weekend of television watching and icon making probably won't happen now. My Dad wants me to wait until i get back to the States to purchase a new computer so I'm looking at at least 3 weeks or more without having a properly working computer. Top off my technology fail with my iPod breaking down, 2009 has not been my technology year.

If I'm not around as much or don't comment this is probably the reason why. I'll try and get up a better post a bit later, but right now I'm just trying to unwind from this unexpected morning issue.
