Together with 27 other British and French charities and campaign groups, we have written directly to the four airlines carrying out deportations from the UK to France under the cruel, inhumane and racist ‘one in, one out’ scheme.

We reject the government’s ‘one-in, one-out’ scheme and condemn the detention, harm, and forced removals it has caused. We demand its immediate end.

A Palestinian citizen of Israel ‘Hasan’ has been granted refugee status in the UK due to a well-founded fear of persecution from what he argued was ‘apartheid Israel’, in a landmark case, after he and the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (“JCWI”) successfully challenged the Home Office, despite ministerial interference.
