Welcome to JazzWorks Canada
JazzWorks is an Ottawa-based Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of jazz musicianship in players of all ages. To achieve its mandate and goals, JazzWorks carries out a wide range of activities including an annual summer Composers' Symposium / Practice Retreat & Jazz Camp, monthly Jam Sessions and Vocal Open Mics, as well as "JazzWorks Presents" concerts throughout the year. To keep you informed, JazzWorks maintains a calendar of jazz events and publishes a weekly newsletter called Ottawa Jazz Happenings.

2025 Jazz Camp a huge success in its 30th Anniversary year!
Jazz Camp 2025 was a fantastic event, enjoyed by participants and faculty alike. New musical friendships were forged, lots of jamming happened into the wee hours of the night and the place was swinging from dawn 'til dusk!
If you would like to be informed early of our Composers' Symposium & Practice Retreat and Jazz Camp 2026 Registration opening dates, please contact Admin at [email protected] to get on our mailing list! Rooms fill up fast, and if you would like to attend in 2026, it is best to register as early as you can. |
