I am so disapponted today. I can't even.

I know that people HATED Hillary for their various reasons, but to elect this RACIST MISOGONISTYIC SHIT-STIRRING HATEFUL FUCKING ASSHOLE instead blows my fucking mind. To hear the words that have come out of his mouth for YEARS and think, yeah, I think he would make a great president, is mind boggling. No filter. I don't even know if he wants to be president, I really think he just wanted to win. DICK.

I didn't want to do my mini-rant on Facebook because I do have a few (very few) friends that I know that voted for him, and I don't want to be unfriending people because of it. I respect everyone's right to vote, and I hope to GOD that everyone that did vote for him didn't do it because they are as terrible as he is.

I'm pissed off, and it's too early to drink. I think.

For the first time in forever, I saw a grown up movie at the theater. My friend took me out for my birthday (a month late, but it's all good, haha), so I picked Thor. This is my first time seeing any of these movies at the actual theater, (Iron Man, Avengers, Thor, etc). I have watched all those movies from the comfort of my living room. Nice, but not as AWESOME as the big screen.

So I loved it SFM, OMG.

Thor and Loki 4-evah. That is all.

I hope everyone had a good and safe time celebrating. I stayed home New Years Eve with the hubby and kids and we played some board games and watched Rio (for about the zillionth time). This is a far cry from my single days, when my friend and I would load up at the liquor store like we were stocking up for some kind of catastrophe (we'd have liquor at least, dammit!) and get sloppy drunk and call people at midnight and wish them a happy new year. Good times. *nods at memory* Ah responsibility, you are a bitch sometimes.

Anyway, I wanted to acknowledge that I received two more Christmas cards this past week, one from invisiblelove and one from annealysse that was super glittery. Thanks, girls!

I've been pretty busy (as most of you all have too). Ah, I love the holidays, but I'm glad the preparation part is over and the chillax and eating part is about to begin, yay! We're going to my MILs house, as per usual. It'll be strange and sad without my FIL around, but we're looking to make it festive nonetheless.

I see all the fic for l lostsquee is being posted but I haven't had a chance to dig in. And whoever wrote the fic for me, if you're on my flist, I'm going to get to it, I swear! I just need to have a few moments when my kids aren't peering over my shoulder to enjoy it (and all the other ones).
