10:58 am - lemmywinks30 - DataSource question

I get the following message when I run my application:

[5/24/05 10:59:00:721 EDT] 0000002a ConnectionFac W J2CA0294W: Deprecated usage of direct JNDI lookup of resource jdbc/ds1. The following default values are used: [Resource-ref settings]

res-auth: 1 (APPLICATION)
res-isolation-level: 0 (TRANSACTION_NONE)
res-sharing-scope: true (SHAREABLE)
loginConfigurationName: null
loginConfigProperties: null
[Other attributes]

res-resolution-control: 999 (undefined)
isCMP1_x: false (not CMP1.x)
isJMS: false (not JMS)

The line of code I use is
DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/ds1");

I tried to search the web for this problem but I can't seem to get a clear answer. Anyone have any ideas?

As always, thanks!

12:37 pm - thenetimp - Looking for some one to develope an applet...

Hi Guys,

I am looking for some one to develope a java applet for me. I would open source it so that any one can use it, I just don't have the time to read up on java to figure out how to program it myself. I don't have any money hence the OSS of the project. I'm willing to help on any future projects you might have going that are php/perl/Obj-C based, in return(be warned my obj-c is limited). I would like to find a developer who might have need for a similar applet and just hasn't thought to make one.

Here's the basic spec. The applet will be for uploading files to a webserver via HTTP post. The files must be draggable to the apple, and also have a file open panel that would also allow for addition of files. Must be able to brand the applet with a background image in the view that shows the file name. Ability to remove some/all added files. And the final piece is that it needs to be threaded so that it is transfering more than one file at a time, and there needs to be a way to specify the number of simultanious uploads.

If this sounds like a project you might be interested in doing, cool, let me know. If not, that's cool too.
