6 Cups of Tea

Hello, everyone.

I wanted to let you all know that Home Economics is no longer canceled, and will resume Monday as normal.
[There are small inkblots, as if he paused briefly before continuing on.]
I'm very sorry if I worried any of you. I didn't mean to, and I shouldn't have canceled class like that.

I'm unsure of how many of you have found out by now, but nearly a week ago my office burned down. I... lost a few things of great value to me, and in my depression I canceled class. I'm better now, though, and I just want to apologize again for acting so abruptly and upsetting any of you. I also happened to lose a great deal of my notes for lesson plans. I have much of committed to memory, but i would appreciate it if you all might bear with me if I appear a bit more disorganized than normal. And as well, if any of you happen to have ideas for lessons, by all means I'm willing to hear them!

With that said, I would like to humbly ask whoever might be willing, if they could stop by sometime Friday morning and help me with my office. It's quite the project, and I will understand if you all might rather do something else. But I would appreciate it nonetheless!

All I ask is that you sacrifice the luxury of using magic, and be okay with working by hand. I believe hard work is beneficial to anyone sometimes, and... Admittedly, magic is what destroyed my office in the first place. I'm a little... hesitant, to use much of it for the time being.

5 Cups of Tea

[The following is written in a sloppy, shaky handwriting very different from Iroh's normal, neat handwriting. The ink is also running a bit in some areas, as if the ink had gotten wet before drying.]

Home Economics is canceled indefinitely

[OOC: A few days after the event, I'm going to put up another entry where he's going to invite everyone to help him with his office, and then I'll put up a log!
And for a little background, Iroh's office has been burnt down, and he lost a lot of irreplaceable objects, most importantly his pictures of his son, Lu Ten, who passed away. Your character might have smelled smoke as they walked down the hallway, or if they were in the vicinity they might have even seen it. Iroh received a few minor burns and was treated for them in the hospital wing. He's currently nowhere to be found, as he's avoiding people because of the fire that he keeps creating by accident.]

4 Cups of Tea

I apologize that I didn't acknowledge this sooner, but I have been incredibly busy preparing for this semester, as I was delayed this summer and had to catch up last minute.

For those of you who haven't heard, I've been made Head of Hufflepuff House! What an honour it is, truly. While it was true before this, I wanted to repeat that I am here for each and every one of you, and if there's anything you possibly need, don't hesitate to ask.

To celebrate this, I was thinking of having a tea party this weekend! Everyone is invited, and it will be in my office this Saturday, the 24th. It would make me happy if you would attend.

And for those of you in my class, I'm going to make this year spactacular! I've been thinking of having a field trip this year, if any of you would be interested? I was thinking we could go to some Muggle bakeries, and maybe a touring a few factories! It would really help enhance the Muggle aspect of Home Economics. Though nothing is set in stone, I would like to hear your input either way.

3 Cups of Tea

Oh dear... Another one.

These recent reports in the Daily Prophet are most depressing, and it breaks my heart to know that these people are being murdered because they are not magical, and my thoughts go out to their family who also have to face such a terrible loss.

It is my belief that everyone is deserving of respect, kindness, and safety, Muggle or Wizard alike. Sadly, it doesn't seem as if that is going to happen any time soon. In the mean time, I hope all of you stay safe, and most of all I hope you all stand by each other and never let be insignificant things like "Blood Status" ever be an issue.

Also, if any of you need someone to talk to who will listen in these frightening and confusing time, then I am here for each and every one of you. I'm no therapist, but a nice talk can really help ease the mind!

[Filtered to Xion, unhackable]

Stay safe on your trip- and if you need anything at all, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm only one apparition away. But also, don't forget to have a lot of fun, because you deserve it.

2 Cups of Tea

Well, summer is just around the corner! I just wanted to tell all of you who are graduating this year that it has been an honour being your teacher, and your friend. I will miss each and every one of you, even those who are not in my class. I wish all of you the best at whatever you decide to do after school, and I am here if you need guidance, or if you happen to need a note sent to a potential employer. Admittedly, the opinion of an old teacher with no Ministry experience is not the strongest, but it is not completely useless, either!

And speaking of summer, do any of you have exciting summer plans? Going on any exciting vacations, or visiting relatives? Aside from the Christmas break, summer is the best time to visit family. Unfortunately, my family are not the visiting type, so I might perhaps settle for a nice, relaxing trip to a spa and soak in a hot spring.

[Filtered to Xion; Unhackable]

Miss Tristesse,

I am very sorry to pull you away from your studies, but I was wondering if I might have a word with you? It is rather important, and I think it would be best to discuss over tea. Would you please come to my office as soon as you can?

1 Cup of Tea

I seem to have misplaced my journal for a while! But thankfully it looks like I have found it, or I wouldn't be writing this.

As I misplaced my journal, I didn't get to congratulate all of you for doing so well on last week's assignments! Especially all of you who passed a certain pop quiz I slipped in. I am rather disappointed in those of you who failed! I had hoped you would have all paid better attention to my lectures on tea.

Perhaps I should give all of you who failed detention!

I'm kidding. But really, you should have paid better attention.

I am already planning next week's assignments! It will be very exciting, but I'm going to keep all of it a surprise, to keep you all on your toes.

[filtered to Jules]

Mister de Ferrier,

I wonder if you might have tea with me in my office this weekend? You are graduating soon, and it would be a great honour to have tea with one of my best students!
