Yeah, lots of little things here and there. Text repeating. Text too tiny. Game economy is borked. I'll cut a lot of slack because it's early but there are definitely things to improve/work on.

Can't seem to give Biscuit food that's in my inventory, or I just don't know where to do it. Also cannot find a way to open the office in then motel. Maybe they're just story events?
Overall though, very promising. I would clean up the AI background art though when you get a chance, it's a bit distracting in parts despite being quite pleasant to look at. Also the scene with Riley in the back office doesn't loop properly and just goes to black.

Loved this. The music is tight, the sound design is PUNCHY, the gameplay is fast and maybe a little easier than it should be (that said, the final room of the game took me a lot of tries) and most of this game is actually fun. Really cool and if this got some more polish and variety it would be a top-seller guaranteed.
Really neat work in progress. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Heads up to IF veterans... This is very simple, almost to a fault. So far going off the beaten path is verboten so stick to the highlighted words.
Only piece of advice I have is to maybe expand the vocab to include shortforms for words. Also, maybe add some extra text in more locations when a player attempts to do something logical/sensible but not available or correct right, interacting with the videotape is an example.
Also, I like the video filter but at least in the web version it makes everything too blurry so I turned it off.
