If you open the file and it does not work, right click program icon, Properties/Compatibility/Run it for window's 7 and it worked for me. After an ungodly amount of researching. Hopefully you see this before that takes place.

Clicked on the icon. It does not read the Jamman. The app screen comes up about 3 seconds and then disappears.

Empress, open the app without the Jamman attached. From the Edit, Preferences menu change the Firmware Update to "No".
