I've rarely had the fortune to work with someone who is so knowledgeable about their field, but never had someone so kind and generous with sharing their expertise and time. Jake's sense of ownership, bias for action, and ability to effectively juggle multiple simultaneous projects are impressive. During his work on Unfabric DHCP and DNS he was able to stay laser focused and almost single-handedly drive those projects to success. He's also a great communicator and presenter. I worked with Jake in developing the Hyper-V offering at Rackspace. Jake is an incredibly dedicated engineer who thrives on learning, creating, and implementing new and unfamiliar technologies. With his help, we were able to implement a fully automated deployment and quality control application for the Hyper-V hypervisors at Rackspace. Working with Jake was a great experience, as he embodies the positive characteristics of collaboration, experimentation, and development.
