Welcome to SimpleID.eth subnames. Creating a simple way to secure your own simpleID.eth subname via our partners, NameSpace. Using their platform, you can mint a unique SimpleID.eth subname, that is 100% yours and registered already for 9 years!
Using the NameSpace platform, we can deploy the SimpleID.eth subname, simply and easily. Maintaining your subname can be managed on that platform directly, or via other platforms, including the official app.Ens.domain tool
So what are they?
While the ENS Domains team update their protocol to further support L2, known as ENSV2, this will take time. Once this is deployed. you will have the option to stay with on L1 chain, or move to ENSV2 on namechain, for a small gas fee, where Gas Fees are insignificant.
Its all so SIMPLE to have a great ID
So how do I register?
You have 2 options, directly here, or on the namespace site.
- Here on JaesTips: use the blue box at the bottom right of this screen, named “Namespace”. You can then search for a SimpleID.eth subname from there. Find the one you want, connect your wallet (this will connect with NameSpace, not this site) and complete the transaction (a little gas will apply).
- Directly on Namespace: Go to the SimpleID.eth page on NameSpace and use the Search box to find an available name, and hit “Mint” – again, you will need to connect your wallet to complete the purchase.
Once minted, check your wallet under “nfts” and sort by last recieved – its yours! Enjoy it!
What does a SimpleID.eth subname cost?
The price is set at 0.001e, currently about $4. Thats it. No renewals. Yours. 100%. Heck, if you find a good one, you can sell it! They cannot be rugged, unlike the majority of subnames you see on secondary market places.
For 1, 2 and 3 letter/digit/emoji subnames, they’re priced a little higher, at 0.15e / 0.1e / 0.01e respectively
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Subname?
An ENS subname is a child name derived from a parent ENS name, like wallet.simpleID.eth. It inherits permissions from the parent but can have its own controls, making it easier to manage multiple identities under one main name.
What is Layer 2?
A Layer 2 chain on Ethereum is a secondary blockchain built on top of the main Ethereum network (Layer 1). It aims to improve scalability by handling transactions off the main chain, reducing congestion and lowering fees.
Un-Ruggable? What does that mean?
Being unruggable, it means that once you own it, its yours, for ever. No one can cancel the name, nor can they use it to fake an ID. As Web3 grows, this decentralisation adds immense security to transactions, socials and your entire presence in the “New Internet”
