It's kind of funny, but while I'm reading about many of my flists moving right now, I'm considering doing thee same. I've applied for a teaching job -finally an open one! I'll know if I get it about two weeks before classes start, if I'm lucky. I'll also have to relocate about an hour north of where I am now. I've been looking at apartments in the area, so that I'm not at a complete loss if I do get the job. Any helpful hints people?

So I've been thinking lately, and I find myself curious. Most of you probably know that I am a submissive masochist, and I know there are a number of people on my flist who practice an alternative lifestyle, and I guess I'm just wondering when you knew.

It started when I was slightly drunk and a friend(a switch) and I were disscussing this topic. It's kind of funny, but as long as I can remember I've been like this. Even when I didn't have a name for it. When I was a little kid (kindergarten even) I'd be in bed and pretend that for whatever reason all the kids and teachers at school thought I was bad and were punishing me. Granted my knowledge base was a bit off, and I laugh to remember what I used to think, but I still wanted it. I remember trying to explain to my mom when I would get a loose tooth that it was a "Good kind of pain". She didn't get it- lol. One turning point for me was when I read the book "The Dragon and the Thief" by Gillian Bradshaw. It's a children's book, but there's a part in it where the main character Prahotepstet has is arms tied behind his back, and then he's strung up to a tree by them and pushed over a cliff. A bit graphic for a kids book maybe, especially for one written in 1991, but I read that one passage over and over. I don't know how old I was- grade school still- but it always seemed odd to me that I loved that section so much. I didn't understand what appealed to me so much. I have to say it wasn't until I found fanfiction in Jr. High that I realized there was a name for my "strange" urges.

There are no deep secrets in my past that made me this way, no hidden abuse that caused me to enjoy pain with my pleasure and submission. I'm just hard wired that way and get annoyed when I hear the dearm sadomachism disorder, like there is something wrong with it. In my mind, Safe, Sane, and Consensual are the only things to worry about.

So, now that I've got my verbal diarrhea out of the way, who's up for a poll?

It's a bit early, but then I'm an early planner. Lol. I always have been, which tends to drive people nuts, but when I go somewhere I've usually figured out where I'm staying, how to get there, and an what I'm doing, spending on what and where months before I ever go. I'm planning on going to the 2012 Olympics in London.

Last time I was in London it was with a group, and I didn't have to do any of the planning myself. This time I will. I know I've got people in my f-list who are in England, or at least closer than I am, anyone wanna share hints on places to stay, eat, flights to take over? I'm trying to keep expenses down. I already plan on staying in a hostel, and recomendation as to which one? Any help is greatly appreciated and will be repaid with much thanks.

This season premire? Fantastic. Where to start? The boys being saved? Chuck using a slasher to send Dean and Sam a message? I mean, really? That was fantastic. I laughed so fucking hard. "If this is wrong I don't want to be right..." LMAO! Bobby stabbing himself to save Dean? Cas GOING ALL SUPERANGEL on Zac and CO? Amazing. I squeed the minute he showed up. Lucifer being all convincing and believable? The boys being marked by Cas?

And the Ending...oo...boy. It was hard. I hated it. I hated that it had to happen. I LOVED IT. If it hadn't happened I would have been upset. Dean needed to deal with this realisitically. It couldn't be all rainbows and unicorns and oh I'm over it like *that*. It has to hurt for awhile, they have to push past their issues to become close again.

I work in a cafeteria style restaurant, so people come up and I have a set of questions that I ask them. A couple came up, and the husband wanted an open faced double roast beef sandwich on wheat with horseradish and mashed potatoes, gravy over everything. The wife wanted the same thing. Now, if I had not checked to make sure she wanted wheat bread I wouldn't have discovered she wanted white. And she didn't want an open face. No horseradish. A single instead of a double. She did though want the mashed potatoes and gravy.

*rolls eyes* I always ask anymore, even though it apparently aggravates people. They'll say things like I said the same didn't I? Or "Don't you listen to me?" I will admit there have been times I've asked twice if you want potatoes, or horseradish, etc. because we get a lot of people and I may just forget that I've asked you. However, it's very helpful to your servers if instead of getting pissed at us, you try and be a little understanding. Thanks! :)

Summary: While being rescued by Oliver Queen, Clark comes to a startling revelation

Clark was certain he was about to die. He’d pushed the Russian boss too many times, and in moments a bullet was going to find his way to his brain, and this time there would be no deflecting it. Then a voice came at him out of the blue. It was a voice he’d recognize anywhere--even when it was speaking in a language he barely understood. Oliver.

He turned, not quite able to believe his no longer super-hearing. But it was him all right, blonde hair and cocky attitude. He was speaking to the boss, in Russian none the less, and who knew Ollie was fluent in Russian? The blow to the back was a surprise, painful enough to send him crashing to his knees for a moment. He stood up in time to watch Oliver swaggering over to him. He had to admit he was confused at first. It took him a minute to realize he should say he had a problem with him being here when really he just wanted to grab him in a hug. He does though, and the punch Ollie throws catches him by surprise.

It took him a moment before he could turn back and tackle him. He doesn’t pull his punches; he doesn’t need to, not when he’s like this. He does ask Oliver what he thinks he’s doing, but his response, roll with it, was not very informative. However, moments later Ollie flipped him on his back and he groaned, his cock hardening rapidly, much to his embarrassment. Even the fist slamming into his face didn’t diminish it. In fact, the knowledge that Oliver could do this--over power him, hurt him--made it even worse.

He was grateful when Oliver got off of him, pulling him to his feet. The switch blade snapped out and was pushed against his neck at the same time Ollie pulled him tight against his chest. He was instantly aware of the fact that Ollie was just as aroused as he was, his breathing hard and heavy, as he essentially bought him. It made his own erection more tolerable; at least he wasn’t the only one who had been turned on by their little tussle. They turned and walked away, Clark reluctantly allowing himself to pull out of Ollie’s embrace.

“What took you so long?” he asked. He wasn’t just referring to the rescue. Ollie just smiled and took him to his jet. Anything else could wait.

I am, or was rather as I'm writing this now, staring at my homework for my online class with a blank stare and a mind to foggy to even think about finishing this three page paper due at midnight. Why you ask? Well it could be a result of the Tylenol with Codeine in it. Just maybe. Why'd I take that? Because my friends, I am female. And about once a month females have a certain problem. Mine always announces itself a minute before with cramps. They're usually bad. Today they were horrific. I've been up since 2:30, which means I got an hour of sleep. They won't go away. Even now, drugged stupid, they're still there. They were so bad earlier I threw up, which is why I decided to take the tylenol. In hopes that it would do some good. It's not usually this bad, but once in awhile they'll be a doosey. I tried to go to sleep after taking the tylenol, so I could come back and work on this later...but it didn't work. So. Here I am, sitting in the quiet room of the third floor dorms because for some reason the internet stopped working in our suite. Which is just dandy- it means I can't sit in a nice chair and try to doze off.

Well, I got my new laptop. She's a toshiba and she's very nice. I don't like the Fusion Finish though because it means that everytime I touch it I leave my fingerprints which is obnoxious. Overall it's sweet though. She's so quick and efficient! And the fan on the side is fantastic.

It's amazing really, this whole being able to smell thing. It's an odd fact about me, but my sense of smell has always been maybe half as strong as most people. If it wasn't a strong scent I didn't smell it. At all. Take hamburger-it had a smell? News to me! Same with turkey. I never got mom's comments about having to cook the turkey at our house Thanksgiving so we could have the smell.

It was all a result of my deviated septum which has been cured. Well not as easy as all that. I had surgery two weeks ago in order to accomplish this. It wasn't fun. Apparently the drugs they used to put me under-not so good for me. My throat decided to swell and close up-so they had to shove one of those tubes down my throat. When I woke up it hurt more than my nose ever did! lol. It was supposed to be a simple out-patient procedure but they kept me over night cause my lungs were raspy and I was having trouble breathing. My throat hurt for awhile, and my nose but they gave me drugs that kept me mostly asleep so it wasn't too bad. The nose still hurts some now-but only when bumped or in the cold. And the stitches are gone-thank goodness. The stitches annoyed the hell out of me. *rolls eyes*

After all that it was worth it. I never realized how little air I actually got from my nose-at least not usually. I do remember panicking when they were taking one of my wisdom teeth out because I couldn't get the oxygen I needed very well through my nose. But still, the difference is amazing. And the smells! I've mentioned that already, but I really love smelling all these great things. Like the smell of boiling beef- I've always loved it but had to shove my nose practically in the pot to smell it. Now I can smell it throughout the house and how wonderful is that? The only down side is having to blow my nose much more, and that's such a little thing I don't even care!!
