To stake your M3ta Crystals you need to hold the equivalent amount of AIX in your wallet, for example 100 M3ta Crystals requires 100 AIX staked as a 1:1 pair. Locking period on staked AIX is 30 days regardless of epoch period. If you stake multiple times during an epoch, you will start a new locking period for each new amount of AIX. Staking window for each epoch is open the first 15 days from when the epoch starts. Note that M3ta Crystals will be burned when they are staked.
