Picspam - Top 10 Male Characters

So I finally got over my laziness and finished my picspam. There were many ties between the characters but I can say I'm satisfied now :) I think of making a version 2.0 of it (a.k.a. from 11 till 20th place). I hope you enjoy my choices.

#10 Liam Court, 90210

It is all Matt’s fault. He plays his role SO good, it’s unbelievable. Some of you will say he’s a typical example for” a bad boy gone good” but I believe he’s not. He changed himself. Yes, Naomi deserves the credit, too, but most of the job, he did himself. I’m so proud of the man he’s becoming. The funny part is that he’s like the opposite of my number 7 [to be posted], but I still love them both. For him there is a fine and apparent line between good and bad, in contrast to season 1’s Liam. He doesn’t easily forgive when somebody crosses that line, because we have to admit it, 98% of the cases we, on our own, decide to cross that line and lie, or just go bad. Naomi shouldn’t have played him in that way (off-topic I still believe and hope they will work things out) and I’m glad he stayed true to his believes and didn’t forgive her newest lie. I think he needs some time alone; it will have a good effect on his personality.

#9 Ryan Atwood, The O.C.

Exactly the way I imagine the big brother I’ve always wanted and will never have. Ryan is the only bad boy who has been good from the very beginning, right? :D I can’t say much about him, he’s just Ryan – he will try to protect you and trust you and understand you. He will be there for you – to listen to you and give you an advice but you should be careful not to lose him, it’s gonna be a big mistake. He’s careful when faced with the unknown. His irony is like the best thing ever :D His personality is the closest one to perfection, imo.

#8 Oliver Queen, Smallville

This summer I watched all 9 seasons of Smallville, but I must say I liked Ollie since his first one - the 6th season premiere. It is unbelievable how he can be both absolutely lost and absolutely determined even though not at the same time. He is a very strong character. I love his idea of always doing the better thing, even if it means being a little bad (a.k.a. stealing, killing).

He was really tied for the 8th place with Ryan. I find many similarities in their characters even though some of you may laugh at me right now. No matter what, Ollie will always be a hero, he will sacrifice himself for the well-being of many others, but I will say he’s a different hero. Not the typical one (a.k.a. Clark), more of a good one, caring this little darkness inside him.

#7 Lucas Scott, One Tree Hill

Lucas seemed lost and confused for most of the time on the show, but one thing will always drive him towards the future – love. Lucas’ wisdom and points of views have always been interesting to me. He is a different character than most of these here. With him, it’s not about being good or bad, it’s about what lies in your heart beyond that. His decisions weren’t right or wrong, he was the boy who could show you and even convince you that there is no such a thing as wrong. There are only many many people with different minds, desires and wishes, all of which are right in their own magical way.

There is not a better job for Lucas than being a writer. He has always been the master of words and feelings. I can only say that I’m glad he opened his heart at the end, and took his decision, which was the end of the biggest ships battle ever. For Brucas fans that decision was wrong and for Leytoners it was the right one. It is sad that almost all these fans didn’t get his message – there is no right and wrong – there are just choices that are made and some that are not.

P.S. I’m a Leytoner, but I will never ever hate Brucas. And I will never stop telling people that what they had was also beautiful and real :)

#6 Jack Shephard, Lost

Most of you probably think that Jack is one of these characters who will either be number 1 on your favourites list or on the ones you hate. It was a very BIG tie between him and the next guy, because Jack is a complete and complex character. Lost made a miracle in developing their characters and I will say, mostly Jack. He is a hero, in the full and only meaning that this word has. He is selfless and helpful, and he will give in everything, even the person he loves the most, to do the right thing, which may save many people. And at the end that’s what happened. I’ve always known that he will die, in a tragic, yet beautiful way, because that is what happens to the saviors. I didn’t cry when he died, I remembered all the good he did and I smiled because I knew he died believing in the rightness of his actions. He never ever stopped believing, and that my friends, is the most important thing to me. Most. Ever.

Jack may have deserved to be hated from time to time, he wasn’t perfect, nobody is. The tough situations he was in, only proved the great personality he already had, but they made him stronger, the strongest character, imo. It is very important that whatever he has done, he has done it, thinking, believing he will do good. This is something that can’t be seen very often. Try like – never.

#5 Mark Sloan, Grey's Anatomy

I’ve always felt like Grey’s Anatomy doesn’t devote enough time to the personality of Mark. But now when I think about it, Shonda did develop him but in a different way – through his friendships with Callie and Derek, and his relationships with Addison and Lexie. Who would guess that our womanizer, and I mean a REAL one, will say “I know, I’m saying you could have a husband.”. Plus the whole way in which he managed the situation with the baby and him being a grandfather (already) changed him in such a good way that sometimes I’m wondering, is it possible?

Mark is funny, caring, thoughtful, thorough and a friend everyone could wish for.

#4 Sam Winchester, Supernatural

He’s my man. He will always be special to me. No, I don’t say this word often.

When I started watching Supernatural I was 99,9% sure I will be a Dean girl. I loved Jensen and well, he’s hot, and I already felt like I know him – the big brother who will protect everyone, how could you not fall in love with him? But I didn’t know anything about the other brother, the one called Sam. And then it took me 42 mins, the premiere of the show, to see that this is a big delusion, because I was already a 100% Sam girl. And I’ve been ever since. I don’t know if the puppy eyes or the ambitions or the impetuosity bewitched me, but they did completely. It’s not like I don’t like Dean, I do, especially in the last season (strange for a Sam girl, huh?) but like I said Sammy is special. And I think I feel this way because his personality is just the way I imagine my husband’s will be.

Sammy needed to be saved most of the time, but he was still strong. He sacrificed for Dean (and Dean for him, I know), but he was still vulnerable. He was angry and evil, but he still remembered his brother and what they had. He fights even when it looks like he has no more strength. I hope he always will.

#3 Seth Cohen, The O.C.

I do believe that at the end good will always beat evil.

Seth is the only really truly good boy on this list and probably on many other lists. He is the first male character I fell in love with. He might be selfish and sarcastic and scared but he has this heart, you know….Oh boy, I can’t explain it.

He has loved, like for real, only one girl in his life, and it may sound cheesy but man, that is a fairytale. He has the perfect and at the same time imperfect qualities a man should have. He’s the boyfriend I would like to have, the friend, the classmate, the colleague.

#2 Damon Salvatore, The Vampire Diaries

This man – dot, dot, dot. I knew that it will be really difficult for somebody to displace my number 1 but I did not assume that it will only take me like half a season to love someone more than characters I’ve seen in a hundred of episodes. I fall in love with the goodness inside his heart over and over again each time I watch an episode of the show. And the fact that he’s naturally evil and not really trying to change make a difference, too. Because he does change and I don’t know if it’s because of Elena or because of who he might be for real but Ian’s character is so appealing and I’m sure most of the fans feel drawn to him just like I do.

The moment I realized he deserved all the love he gets was in the finale- when he talked to Jeremy and later when he said : “I’m not a hero, Elena. I don’t do good, it’s not in me.” and Katherine’s reaction “Maybe it is.” That was magnificent; even she could notice the difference.

All people in his life have betrayed him and now he has these walls all around him (similar to my number 1 fave) and I know that he will find a way to break those walls because of Elena and Stefan, and the fact that the person who betrayed you didn’t necessarily stopped loving you.

#1 Chuck Bass, Gossip Girl

I’ve said so many times why I love this man, I’ve written it in my previous characters-related picspam [on lj] but I will say it again and again. He is unique. Yep, he was a womanizer and stuff, and even back then I adored him. Because no matter how bad he might look, he will always be good deep down in his heart. He’s vulnerable and that’s the reason why he hurts the people he loves. He tries to protect himself and that is why I can’t blame him for anything. Living without a mother and with a father like his, this can make you become disastrous but he’s not. Because somehow he managed to keep a little hope and never let it go.

I don’t like Blair, that’s not a secret. But what she’s done for him is unbelievably amazing and I will always be grateful to her for showing Chuck what being loved means. She changed him but most of all she made him want this change. And even when he still gets lost, I know, we all know that he will find the right way because of her. They were meant to be together and eventually they will be, again.

Have I said how much I adore these two. Their friendship is one of the best on TV, they are so caring for each other :) And DUH Callie is a Mark/Lexie shipper!

I love everything about this scene. The doubt, the tension and of course Owen's overemotionality. They are great together and I hope they will work the things out.

Mark: Lex - I’m still in love with you. I tried not be, but it didn’t work. And Sloane’s gone, there is no baby, and I don’t want to sleep around. I want another chance. I’m in love with you.

BEST. CONFESSION. EVER. It totally surprised me but I was so happy that Mark finally admitted this. And I hope he's now going to fight for her because even Lexie sees that Alex isn't what she wants. Sorry Lexie/Alex shippers.

The baby issue is important but I hope these two will manage to fix it. Because they rock the devil out of hell :D Made for each other!

So these are my first texrutes ever. 6 months ago I thought that making my own textures will be something imposible. But I got inspired, special thanks to sparknatural becase this girl's art makes me want to fly and be happy and I decided to try and make some textures myself now. I haven't done anything for the last 4 weeks so I need courage. As this is my first set I decided to protect it with a password but I may change this for the next sets which I hope I will make.

Here are the question Ghost asked me:

1. What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?
2. What's your favorite band/artist? What made you fall in love with them/him/her?

And my answers:

1. OMG :D I can’t really remember...I guess it was a year and a half ago when I was in the school choir and we had to sing in front of 10 000 people for our school’s 50th university. And at the end of the song it was just me with 2 more girls that were singing...It was so strange I thought I won’t be able to sing at all :D

2.My favourite singer is Ne-Yo. I love his voice. I love the fact that whenever I’m angry I just need to listen to one of his song especially my favourite “Sexy Love” and I feel calm again J My favourite band is Simple Plan though Paramore are close too. I have a history with SP. Like almost 4 years ago I was listening to awful Bulgarian music, it’s a long story to explain why it’s awful, but it is...the singers are all women and they are fake beauty queens and only not-so-intelligent people are actually listening to them (which means like 1/3 of my country’s population, sadly ;( ) So I started listening to Simple Plan and they changed me, not only them but also Kimi and one of my friends so I will always remember and love them.

3. Ok, tough. If the convention means meeting Jared and Jensen or at least seeing them 5 meters aways from me-yes I will choose this one. If it’s just like a meeting of fans, even though it will be in one of my favourite countries, I will choose the Chelsea game. Chelsea brought me only tears for the last 2 years but I still love them as much as I love dthem at the beginning.

4. Chuck Bass is my favourite character ever. I love him sooo much it even hurts :D No matter what he does or will do...I will always love him that much. But he is he at least 1/3 because of Blair. I don’t like her but I’m grateful that she’s in his life and that they are Chuck and Blair. I would love seeing him live (lmao) but never be with him. So my choice is Sam. Sammy can protect me and in spite of that he can be vulnerable so I can prostect him too. This will sounds like I’m a totally crazy girl but if I have a husband I imagine him being just like Sam, (but blonde :D) This character just has a really GREAT personality, and still...I love the evil in him.

5.First of all, as long as this is an amazing question, don’t make me answering it because imaging me with Kimi and knowing it’s just a dream will hurt like hell. And second, my friends always tell me I have a dirty subconsciousness (OMG they are so not right *angel look*) so probably it won’t be something everyone wants to know about :D

I decided to make this picspam because it was a high time!!! So here are my favourite tv characters, I think I didn't miss anyone.Probably I could add more to the "Honorable Mentions" but I like it that way :)

Brotha, I like that man. I really do. His accent and his whole personality. I love tha fact that he fights for what he believes in - his love for Penny and he never gives up. He reminds me of my hero :) He could be just an ordinary character for most people but for me he's special :)

I feel sorry for that girl. She's probably the most hated character from the O.C. So what? She was a drug addict and she was drinking too much. Not everyone could be strong enough, not everyone could be a hero but it doesn't mean you're always a wreck. She loved Ryan since the first time she saw him. Summer was always there for her which surely means that she has found something in Marissa that made her good enough, special. I loved her smile and I even liked her weakness, I don't think she deserved what she got. She was such an emotional character, so REAL, so weak but still so great!

The boy whose love and kindness helped B. Davis, even changed her in some way. Julian is one of those characters who follow their dreams and that's probably one of the reasons why I love him.

"My father always made me feel like I wasn't good enough. Any time I had any success he would remind me of my failures." (The part of the quote when we can see that in spite of this he is still as strong and kind-hearted as ever) "I love your daughter. I'm in love with her" (I love the fact that he is not afraid to say what he feels in contrast to almost every other man. And he doesn't only say it, he means it) "I want you understand something: you're either gonna learn to be nice to her, or you're not gonna be in her life. Nice to meet you, Victoria. Feels like I've known you all my life." (This is for you, Bitchtoria! I can't stop thinking about how strong that boy is...He protects the people he cares about in the best possible way.)

Julian always finds the best words to say, it's like a gift he has. I would be glad to have a boyfriend like him!

He's the only bad boy who has been good from the very beginning :D I mean he had that looking-like-a-bad-boy-but-in-fact-an-angel personality :) And he is blond! And I do adore blond guys. I like that he knows what he wants because you know, not everyone does. He's so shy <3 I love his shyness. And THAT look. I told you...a real angel! But most of all I love the fact that he can’t really express his feelings. He can't talk about them, he rarely says "I love you"...That boy is just made of adorable shyness and awesomeness!

I don't know why I've never really liked P. Sawyer till one of those last Sundays of June when I actually realized how amazing she is and how many things we have in common. Music is a big part of my life, I like to cry when I need it and I'm probably too emotional and lonely sometimes. Lucas loved to tell her that she was going to change the world one day but I think she was changing it a little everyday :) She had the biggest success someone could have...True love and family. For me, she hasn’t changed a lot during the years just because at the beginning she was as good as she's now, then she was just too confused and I didn't like her too much because I am always THAT confused and it is a part of my character I don't like.

P. Sawyer = Love <3 + the best art ever!

Unfortunately, I'm almost sure that there isn't a boy like Chase in the world. He's so lovely, and kind, and cute, and shy, and nice that these words seem to be just insufficient. I'm sad he wasn't a main character so I haven't had much time to know him better. He's exactly who I would love to marry one day <3 Best boy personality!

I'm speechless. He is hilarious and if you watch House, you totally know it :D I always laugh the most when I'm watching that show. He always says the best jokes but it's not the only reason why I like him. He's almost always right. And he KNOWS it :D and he uses it. He's so manipulative in a good way! He's also a little too rude but it's not such a big problem. He has a unique personality. He's a drug addict. Vicode <3 :D Can you just understand that I love everything about him no matter how bad it could be :D But most of all I love that fact that he continues to be rude and uncivil and to say whatever he thinks and still everyone knows how weak he is but they can't use it against him because...I don't know why, just nobody tries to hurt him. He is the only one who can hurt himself. Unfortunately, sometimes he does :(

Oh, boy. Ben is manipulative, selfish, a liar, a badass, a murder and so freaking awesome :D :D He's the only one bad character I love. What I can't believe is that he almost always keeps his word. If he promises you something and you are not so important, you have 75% chance to get what you want. Ben is so calm; I love how quiet he could be even when he doesn't have to. And he surely loves one thing - his biggest love - the island. He makes everything to protect it and let's face it, he's going to do whatever it takes to protect it, and not everyone has the power to loose his daughter because of his stubbornness but still continues to protect something because he has to. And I almost forget...his gait...LMAO! I'm laughing every time I see him walking, I don't know why, it's just so funny but even his gait reveals stillness :) + Ben is the best liar ever. He said so many times that he's Henry Gale and he was so confident that even though I always knew he was one of them, I think he started to believe he's Henry Gale :D I don't mind people who lies (I'm crazy I know), I mean as long as you lie there should be a pretty good reason for you to do it and if you have to do it to protect something/someone you want/need/care about, I don't see what's the problem. But Ben's lying is simply a big talent :)

He's a hero. He's nice. He can do whatever everyone other can. He always protects the ones he loves but he also protects the people he's never met. And he cares pretty much about everything. He's strong and he will always help you! He just helps people because he has a good heart and soul. He can change the world, he did change it and he will continue to change it. He will always have a special place in my heart!

I love this girl. She's so modest, kind, polite and obliging. She's a really good girl and teenager. Despite her age she is mature, even more than her mother. If I didn't have the best best friend in the whole world, I would like Serena to be mine. Blair is a lucky girl :) But what I really like the most about S. is that she had a not-to-be-proud-of past but she wanted to change and she did. I think she is a new person now. You know, sometimes S. can be S. the bitch but even then she's nicer than any other girl in Manhattan. And she has a great style, the girl with the best style for me.

She’s crazy and we all know it :D But by crazy I mean so good and nice crazy :) C’mon what am I supposed to say, you know Phoebe (and if you don’t, you missed a lot). She’s always somewhere else but not in the room, she always gives awesome ideas!! She’s hilarious. I can’t be serious while I’m talking about Phoebe so I’m just going to sing for awhile "Smelly cat, smelly cat, how are they feeding you, smelly cat, smelly, it's not your fault"

It was the hardest thing ever for me to choose between Jack and Sawyer. I never did it. But making this picspam meant that I would have to put one of them in front of the other. I chose Jack but it doesn't mean a lot. I did it because I love Jate and I'm sure if I was a Skate fan I would love Sawyer more. James is one of the characters who changed so much and one of those who I love equally before they changed and after that. He was hilarious during the seasons. All those jokes were simply taking my breath. I love that he started to care less about himself and more about the others even though changing himself in that way meant to loose part of his sense of humour. He became from selfish to selfless and the only one sad thing (about a Jack/Kate fan like me) is that the reason for that, in my opinion, is Kate. He loves/loved her so much that she's the biggest reason why he changed. She helped him to do it, so did Juliet :) But you know, it doesn't really matter who you most change for but who you started to change for. I will never want to erase Skate even if I could, only because of Sawyer and his personality now. I will always love him for the fact that he tried to forget Kate, he tried to move on but I know that no matter what he said he never did. Sometimes the attempt means more than everything, no matter if it succeeds or not. He's a great man, strong, handsome, now a man with principles. James "Sawyer" Ford is LOVE!

This character is unique. Jack can be both strong and weak, sad and happy, nice and rude, being right and being wrong, being a leader and waiting for someone to lead him, calm and angry. And the most interesting thing is that he is often the one now, and then after 3 seconds he can be the other. But he is always selfless and he is (almost) always ready to help. And I don't know why I love him 1% more than Sawyer. Jack even deserves to be hated sometimes. Why the hell he didn't want to help Ben as a kid? He was dying and he said "no". How he can kiss back Kate after Sawyer told only him that he loved her? I can't believe that I actually love someone that much after what he's done. I don't like perfect things, that's why. I love things/people that always have the chance to improve themselves because you know, if you are perfect, you can't change. You can't taste the victory, when you improve your personality. I wrote that Jack is both strong and weak. We all know why and when he was weak, but in spite of this, he is probably the strongest character ever. It is so hard to do what he has to; it is so hard to be a leader when you not always succeed in it. It is so hard to love someone who will leave you in the end but it's even harder to fall in love with other person who is just like the first one. Jack loves Kate so much and I can't believe that he prefers to loose her, never meet her but help all those people with the bomb and go back in time. This is heartbreaking for a Jate fan but it makes me love him even more.

Summer is a beautiful and kind character. She was supposed to take part just in a few episodes but most of the people, including me, loved her so much that it would be a shame to remove the character of Rachel Bilson. Seth changed Summer a little but even in the very beginning, she was a really nice girl. Maybe too childish and high-school-famous but still good enough to win people’s love. Seth made her personality stronger but she can thank herself for that, too. Her interests (Pancake, saving the environment) seem to be a little bit crazy which made her character even more special :) She is a good example that people can fight for what they want (going to study in college with Seth). There aren’t any impossible things for her. But she is also the kind of a person who doesn’t let you play games with them. You’re either going to say the truth and be nice or not going to be her friend.

There has always been one thing I didn’t like in Lucas – his ~girl~ confusion. And because of it One Tree Hill is probably the show with the biggest haters of one couple or another. I think Leyton is and has always been the true love, but Mark gave Brucas fans a lot of reasons to make them think that they are meant to be. Except for that Lucas began as an outsider, but talented basketball player. I like his look – that smile, and that hair, and those eyes. I love how he changed, how he grew up. I want to say so many things about him, but somehow I can’t find the words. Let’s try. He is a great uncle, father and husband. He was a good coach and a book writer (FOR SURE!) He’s kind and somehow real if you can understand me. He’s amazing, he’s gorgeous, he’s Lucas Scott :) And he truly deserves to be adored :)

I really do love both Dean and him, but Sammy is that kind of a boy who always make me fall in love over and over again. He is tall, smart, nice, calm, sexy!! He used to be an example of a good guy and I definitely prefer good boys. Then that thing with the demon’s blood came and I felt like the only person who liked the idea. I mean- good boy gone bad, why not, after everything he has been through – he lost Jessica, his parents and almost Dean. What I like about Sam is also the fact that he almost always needs the help of his brother. He is the one who needs to be saved. This makes him somehow vulnerable and I like it. During the years he changed in a good way- from being that naive college guy to become a great hunter and emotional person with never-dying passion.

I would be really glad if one day I become a woman like her. I would like to have her personality and look. Let’s start. Juliet has that beautiful blond hair which is a little bit curly. She has pretty eyes and smile. She almost never yells and seems to be so calm. She takes decisions quickly and always has a good reason so you wouldn’t doubt about them. She is ready to help her friends or even strangers. You will never doubt if she loves somebody or not because all you need is to look into her eyes and you will be able to tell who she loves. She protects and cares about those people. She doesn’t lie and you can believe her if she promises you something. When there is a need, she will rather help people for a dangerous job than just stay somewhere safe. I can’t believe how she died. I mean there is a possibility that she could be alive but *long story* she probably isn’t. I will miss her so much, I cried when she hit the bomb with that stone ;( But she knew that she had to. And I love that she told Sawyer she loved him in that moment while he was telling her not to give up. She’s just so delicate as a woman but she has such a strong personality. There is just one little thing I wouldn’t like to take from her and it is when she said that beautiful quote “If I never meet you, then I will never have to loose you.” Awesome quote and I can understand her because Sawyer’s love for Kate is just too big to be ruined but I will rather meet someone, love him and loose him than erase the memory if I could, because sometimes memories are the best things I have.

He has been my favourite male character for such a long time and trust me I have thousand reasons. He’s intelligent and he’s funny. His love for Summer is so pure and real and true because he’s probably the only one character here after Desmond who has truly loved just one person. I can’t believe that a man can actually love someone that much. He’s also a romantic boy who became a romantic man but he kept his childish soul forever and I love this fact. I love pretty much everything about him. He has always been an outsider and even after Ryan came, he was still an outsider. But Ryan changed him the most. And I don’t mean he changed his personality but he brought sarcasm and silence :D to his life and these things were unknown for Seth. I noticed that I have in common something with almost every one of the characters and what I have in common with Seth is probably the only one not-so-good thing he has and it’s the fact he’s selfish. But I don’t mean that selfish, but somehow in a good way :D

Way cooler than she was in High School.” I wouldn’t be able to describe B. Davis better than Julian did. The only thing I can add is selfless, because she is probably the most selfless character ever. I would like to put here some more quotes:

These quotes simply prove why B.Davis is my favourite girl. She changed so much in a good way. She was a high school bitch but even then it was because of the age. She was still open-hearted and kind. But through the years she kept her sense of happiness, if I can call it like this. She’s so strong. She had to grow up without parents and not because she didn’t have but because they didn’t care about her. And this is surely their biggest mistake ever. In fact, everyone who has lost Brooke Davis is either a jerk or an idiot because like Nathan once told Owen

“Well, she's had a tough run lately, but on the list of a hundred things you've screwed up in your life, I'd say losing Brooke Davis is one through to ninety-nine.”

I've never thought I could adore someone like Chuck Bass.But he is the most stylish,amazing, unique,special and stunning boy ever. We first saw him as a rich boy who loved women too much. But Blair Waldorf changed him. He is so different now but somehow he kept a part of the Chuck I loved from the very beginning. He opened his heart to real love, he finally said “I love you”, he finally expressed his feelings in a romantic way. And he is also so vulnerable. All those scenes when he lost his father and when he was drunk, he just needed someone to be there for him because he has a brittle soul. Because under all this seriousness there is just a boy who needs to be loved, who needs caresses. On the other hand, he is a player. He knows how to play the game from his first day on the Earth :D He could be manipulative, and he could lie to protect himself and he could hurt other people without a reason. But in spite of those things he’s just more than unique.
He has the best style and accent ever. He has the best personality a man could have. I can understand all those people who love the idea of “good boy gone bad” but I will always love good boys and I will always be happy that Chuck is “bad boy gone good” although I think he has always been good and the bad behavior is just a way to protect himself from hurting and treacheries.
