Check this article and you'll find that Zack Snyder, director of Watchmen and 300 will direct the future Superman film.

I for one am super excited considering both Watchmen and 300 are films I enjoyed immensely even though I never read the graphic novels.

The last Superman flick (Superman Returns) was a spectacular disappointment--I could take pieces I liked from it but as a whole the film fell way short of my expectations, especially considering it was directed by Bryan Singer.

Well, here's to hoping the new Superman film will be superb!

You know when you roleplay and it's so obvious how much a person wants to be the character... or rather be WITH the character their muse is with in canon. FOR EXAMPLE... in the fandom of Supernatural somebody might pick up one of Dean's lovers (Lisa for example) just to play the pairing with a Dean. I don't have anything against pairings, I have something against the twats that RP solely for that purpose. Do you not have a single creative bone in your body? Or are you really that pathetic? Roleplaying is supposed to be fun, but I also think it is a good tool to improve writing and get the creative juices flowing. So far I can think of a small handful of people who uphold those standards... and I'm confident enough to say they know who they are.

... This is my first rant about RP.... and it feels goooood.

No, this post was not prompted by one individual.. but a multitude of observations.

Now, I go back to moving into the big city.

This is not a spoiler, just a few things I picked up on IMDB's Supernatural trivia page.

1, and personally my favorite piece of information was that Kristen Bell was originally offered the role of Ruby in the third season, and she declined. Now, I adored Katie Cassidy's Ruby (damn you fandom crazies for getting her recast), but I cannot help but wonder how K. Bell would have performed. I'm a huge Veronica Mars fan, and zipped through Heroes just to see my favorite new actor. Elle Bishop had the potential to be a great character, but was mostly disappointing. Ahhhh I think she would have been great in SPN, but she was a serious dumb fuck for turning down the offer.

2, the creator of the series, Erik Kripke had a son born on the same day that was selected for Sam's birthday and thought it was "creepy." I think it's awesome, and maybe just a little creepy.

and 3, Jensen Ackles originally auditioned for the role of Sam... could you imagine?

So I watched the season finale of Glee and Jesus Christ, it had me ballin' and really nasty snot like. The song To Sir With Love was featured in this weeks episode. It was brilliant. I hate crying, but for this show I give it an exception. Because, really? Who wasn't a misfit kid with that one teacher that stood up for you? I was. I don't think about it much so more but back then, sure.

You know what else? I studied the novel and film this summer in my awesome Swinging London class in the least few months of my life. So moving.

The Colorado Rockies, my boys down here in Colorado smacked those Washington (DC) National's gooood. Not that they're a particularly good team, but the Rockies sure are. THE POINT, BEST OF ALL my baby faced pitcher Jeff Francis made his return to the game after 20 months of being out. For those of you who follow baseball he helped take the Rockies all the way to the world series in 2007. Rest assured all of the players are young ('cept Helton) and hot, look at their asses when they play, but they can all play some ball.

THIS VIDEO entertained me thoroughly. Aside from the random 'Dean in hospital' glimpse (which should have been built up with a sick near-death experience action sequence) I'd say the video was decent, considering how many hours were spent making it no doubt.

Mainly it made me laugh out loud, which is always a good sign.

It didn't however, make me laugh as much as this week's episode of Glee. Rachel I may kinda like you again for the laughs. It also made me wish there were glists when I went to high school.

EDIT: Also THIS SONG has pretty much been my number one hit. Soak it up.
