AIDRM

AIDRM addresses the growing risk of AI model theft, tampering, and misuse as organisations deploy AI in at the edge and in third-party environments. With no established equivalent of digital rights management for AI, model owners currently lack the technical means to protect their intellectual property or monetise it at scale. The project designs and validates a comprehensive framework that embeds protection mechanisms into existing AI and MLOps workflows. Using trusted execution environments, cryptographic licence binding and secure attestation, AIDRM safeguards AI models while enabling flexible licensing, positioning Europe as a strong player in AI model protection and commercialisation.
