that is so unfortunate XD courage with your research XD

Eheh sorry I didnt read properly the controles on the description before playing (the amount of key out of the blue overwhelmed me but since I wanted to give a shot at the game I rathered.. well.. not read the instructions 🙏 but dont worry you got 5 stars on gameplay anyway, I did have a great time, even with lacking gameplay elements! ) A good easy little think you could've add if you're worried about idiots like me, is an indication of which key to press near of interactives elements! I tried to press the two key I remembered from the instructions, e and k and since it was not reacting I assumed it might just have been here to be pretty 🌱
don't be sorry about the explanations you gave, you did provide a guide in the description and I'm the one at fault for not giving it proper attention. I never took you for responsable for my incomplete understanding of the game and if anything, Im the one who should be sorry for not exploring each mechanics of your game.
I'll keep your game in a collection to play it again the day I'll be in the right mood to interact with it the way it was intended 🫡
Oh I see what you mean, since I had this kind of loop too, the way I delt with it was to manualy reset each of my variables (mostly bool', I love bool') when interacting with what I knew would be the last object players would interact with in the game: the last door. It may not have been the most optimized way to do it, but as long as I didn't forget a variable, I was sure it would be reseted xD (The truth is: as a beginner programmer it is quite intuitive to take the long inconvenient road instead of the built in functions already made for that exact purpose 🙂↕️)
I think on your game, my solution then would've been to manually reset all variable on the moment the player click on the finished nest (I dont say it is the right solution, I'm only projecting and wondering here. I would not give advices on something I'm so bad at)
but what a frustrating bug you encountered here XD
The game is a masterclass, the lvl design is great and as a person not familiar with platforming, I appreciated how balanced and progressive the challenge/learning curve was. The same went for the rhythm minigame: the first song I had to restart 4-5 times, but once arrived to the last song, I was in the zone, I could see that it was technically more difficult, but I had learned and I could beat it without to much trouble but while having a lot of fun! The musics where wonderful, there was just to much of a gap in volume between the platform phases and the rhythm game phase... But that's the only thing I have to say on the game itself.
As this particular jam entry though, I didn't feel neither to much of the theme nor the limitation :/
Also, do you guys are silksongs players? the vibe of your game reminded me of it somehow! (●'◡'●)
I loved how alive the world feel, and the (u_u) (uOu) of the bee when delivering pollen, so cute! The music was also really nice to listen to, and fit the vibe well. A truly cozy experience, and an original one: I don't recall playing something similar before. Your entry is a good proof that a game doesn't need to be challenging to be fun 🌱
you should've go either for pollen or strawberry bushes XD gathering strawberries on random flowers seems so.. well.. random xD I'm curious what would've it be like with the crow attack! For now it is a good starting point for a game, but it lacks a clear goal or a challenge to feel like a complete experience 🤔
I encountered no bugs, and everything already implemented worked perfectly, great job!
Ok so I tried it again and made it to the loop! I liked the different gameplay phases, that is well thought! Sadly I still encountered some bugs that cut my games short, when my partenaire and I had a baby, I went for food, and when I came back they where nowhere to be seen 🥲
Non the less, it is a really cool tamagochi-like game! I'm happy I could see more of what it has to offer!
Oh don't get me wrong, the fact I didn't find it cozy wasn't a bad thing, just an observation! I really did enjoyed the gameplay! Also if you wonder why it didn't feel cozy despite the minimal consequences: it's because in first playthrough consequences dont matters, we don't know the game yet, all we see are fast going bees, fast going timer, a lot of things going on everywhere and the fact we still dont know that consequences are minimals. All off that is setting the player in a certain mindset even before the game really started. As I sayed it didnt bothered me at all, but I figured my input could be of use if you were going for a slow paced type of experience.
as for the bugs, the morning didnt show up at all, it jumped from the continue to the mid day and I really couldn't know what I did for that. maybe I was clicking to fast on the continues as they appeared?
at last: it's true, E is an industry standard nowdays, but I suspect it is mostly the case in actions games, those that requires a lot of different keys to be played, with an hand on the mouse at all time for camera movements. If you need one hand for the mouse, then the most conveniant action key, is also the nearest one from the directional keys, the E.
for cozy games, we don't need as much different actions keys and we don't need a hand at all time on the mouse, that's why one hand on the space bar and the other on the directional pad is a good configuration for those type of games. I would also advise not to disperse yourself regarding on the interactions inputs (Im not talking of alternative keys here, those are always good to have), if you can put everything on the same input, for accessibility purpose, it is good to do so (by that I mean that there is no reason to pass dialogues with the mouse if everything else is made with E, adding buttons should only be to prevent the player to trigger differents actions at once)
Anyway, I hope I didnt annoyed you to much with my text wall!
I didn't know this particular bug and yet, knowing the issues I had in developpement, it doesn't surprise me at all 😆 It all sound like direct results of my wacky solutions to other bugs, so I'm like "yep, sounds like our game 🙂↕️" xD I'm sorry you had to restart though 🙏
it was indeed a looot of work, all the team was on fire and we didn't loose any time on any form of hesitation, I think that helped! Also, no time to be too perfectionist and that, that was really tough for all of us 🥲
Thank you for playing and thank you for your comment, I'm happy you had a good time with our game!
This game makes me reaally nostalgic of old rythm flash games I used to play as a kid! I had a blast!
few note though: sometime the key rhythm seemed a bit random to me, and I still don't know what I think of the playlist... what made the soundtracts chill, made that there was not so many surprises in regard of the rythme: no High, no down, if it make sense... (my english vocabulary is getting short here 🙏)the lack of variety in tempo made the songs feel monotonous. There is a difference between the kind of track you want to put on the background of your study session, something meant to be forgotten about, and a track you want your player to focus on, I believe.
Anyway, I'll keep it in a collection to play it again one day! Really missed this kind of game!
Ouuh, nice! The controles are a bit awkward though: could've been nice to have the spacebar also detected as a an action key, when you're not used to play games with keyboards, E being near directionals, it is easy to miss-press keys and to move instead of act/to act instead of move. And when like me you try to prevent that happening by using directional keys instead of their letters counterparts, the game randomly ask you to use the mouse to continue/pass dialogues/other game phases, and you have to reposition your hands every times.. :/
Also, the game randomly skipped 3 morning of the week, making me wait all the afternoon doing nothing, and without being able to buy anything in the evening time because I didn't earn more wildflowers that day 🤔
and last reserve I have ( I promise after comes the good stuff): the lofi music seemed a bit random, and the fact there was no music at all for most sequences of the game was a bit hard for me, that have trouble focussing/reading in silence. The music of the 8th day was a really good choice though!
Now for everything I liked:
The theme was good, the bees were cute, the story was interesting, the vibe was immaculate. The gameplay wasn't "cozy" running everywhere, but it was fun! First day was a bit overwhelming, but when you take a use to it, it easy to get in the zone, to find systems, an organization! The discovering of the queen bee was a great moment, and I got what I know is my favourite one: the wild flower queen (wild flowers are my favourite flowers, and the queen portrait was just too cute)
It was a really cool mechanic to let us choose every morning how to take care of the bees and all!
Overall a great jam game, it is not perfect but there is plenty to be proud of! GG!
I love the concept, it's really endearing, the art is gorgeous, but I wonder if it's not kind of.. buggy (internet explorer browser here)? I always get stuck on the check health screen, the game only react to feed, and sleep, but last time I slept I got stuck on the sleep state and, well.. I gave up :/
Waw thank you very very much! Someone else asked for a skip button and it is indeed a good feature to have in this kind of game XD
The misaligned ui is a direct result of my clanky programming skill 🙏 I didn't notice the layout I made for it would not adapt well to some viewports, I only encountered the issue once playtesting on my phone at a point where I didnt have time to spend on making things prettier anymore 🧑🔧 But now I know I have to be careful on my UI settings xD
Yes those 2 things are known issues, the first is working like intended but we realized last day while busy with bugs that it was unintuitive in a bad way. We choose to just hope that it would not stuck the player since there was soooo much else to do uu". Every other puzzle require you to drop the items but this one you have to inspect with the item still in your inventory. This is the very first puzzle we came up with at the start on the jam and it didn't.. age gracefully 😆
The seconde one is me fighting with collisions for days and having to let it be a little funky because it was finally technically functional and I couldn't spend more time on it 😓
Anyway, thank you a lot for playing and leaving such a nice feedback! 🌱
The art is seriously impressive! The dialogues where a bit too straight forward for my taste, but maybe it is because I'm from a culture where we do not interact a lot with strangers. It felt unnatural to me the way things were introduced, a bit too fast pacing. (talking about your sibling transition process to a shopkeeper you just met seemed so odd to me xD). I like the representation, though!
The gameplay is cute and fun, giving bouquets a vibe is a really nice detail! with a day-night cycle, so much dialogues and mechanics, I wonder if you slept a lot, it feels really ambitious xD
anyway, gg!
I'm not a clicker enjoyer so I was really happy that the flowers weren't too expensive and the stages quite fast to clear 😆
I liked the garden twist on it, the flowers seemed to spawn really naturally, from a specifique starting point instead of popping totally randomly on the map, that's well thought. I also liked to discover the different flowers each stage and the fun facts were such a nice touch!
but, why did you put a finish screen? you were so on theme before it! XD I understand it from a game design point of view of course... but was it really necessary? xD
Anyway, gg! It's not everyday I see the end of a clicker game. I had a good time 🌱
The concept is really promising, sadly I couldn't play so long because of bugs. 1 time I got stuck on the pause menu, with nothing reacting anymore and got to refresh the page. The second time I got stuck when trying to set a price for the flowers (I took some screenshot of that just in case, because visually it seemed like an unintended ui? I only could enter numbers after right clicking, and couldn't validate my price after that. If I missed something just tell my, I'll be happy to give it an other try.🙏

Thank you so much for coming back to play the game to its end!
Well, the game isn't supposed to be intuitive, and the clues were indeed supposed to be hidden 🫡 I firmly belive that if your game is to find out how to open a locked door, it is not a good game if the key is visible next to the lock 🤔
The shears wasnt supposed to be as challenging though. We didn't enticipated that the player would mix up the bluetit riddle with the shear puzzle and that is 100% on us, because it is such an obvious connexion to make 😅 I also should've not put an other mushroom spot right next to the wormhole and should've draw it a bit bigger.
Every other stuck points you listed is by design 🫡 (No need to guess the eating dynamics of animals by the way, there are clues somewhere for that too)
I'm happy you enjoyed the game past the difficulty of the puzzle. We worked really hard those 2 weeks to make a game that we would be extra proud of 🤝
don't be so hard on yourself xD there are no clues at all in the screenshot, so you wouldn't find anything there. The bird will not give back the shears by himself, his riddle is not to be taken as a quest, it will make sense later! If you want more help to advance in the game, I would be happy to give you some more hints on discord, but not here 🙏
You managed to make me feel like a gardener, and to live moment of pure pride, I had a great time! As other stated the start is a bit rough, and it's unfortunate that the music is sped up by the time skip button. I also thought I was stuck in inventory for a few second, I even wonder if that back pack was a necessary addition? Any way, great work! There is potential to this kind of gardening-puzzly game! I really enjoy games where you have to find out and discover things by yourself, where you have to pay attention and all. There are still some stuff I didn't fully understand (the soil quality incidence and water quantity influence are ones), but it didn't keep me to fill all the quest at the end! 🦾
Minesweeper is legit one of my favorite game, I have hundreds of hours playing it and at this point, it's mostly a fidget toy for me. I always wondered how a roguelike/lite minesweeper would work, since there isn't much more progression nor luck factor when you know the game well, but you managed to make it sense! It's challenging, we are happy to be given upgrades, and the minesweeper part isn't made ridiculously easy in the process. Really well done!
