A fossil of one of my favorite childhood dinosaurs, the Ankylosaurus!

I love a little adventurer! The blue and the glowing sword is making me think of Sting from the Lord of the Rings, and I really like it! This makes me feel like he’s in a game, and I could just plug in a controller and start playing. Also I really like how you have some soft shading on the hero, but the ghost is all outlines, great work!
You used some BOLD colors and I love it! I think super high intensity, high contrast, is rarely executed this well. The bright white and orange glow almost gives a photographic effect, like when you try to take a picture of something super bright. And I think that enhances the feeling that this is a real place. Great work, I really like this!
I really like the visuals and your description of this monster! I think some of the scariest enemies in fantasy are the ones that are more of an entity or a hunger itself, rather than a person or animal. And the fact that you can only see the mouth and teeth shrouds the rest of this creature in mystery. So good!
I really like the speed and scale! The detail of Juniper’s legs running fast while the big creature can take slow steady strides to go the same speed because he’s so big is great! And being in a tunnel gives a great feeling of being trapped. There’s only one way out, and we have to run away as fast as we can! Great work ❤︎
This is like a pixel short film, this is awesome! I love how seamlessly you go between light in the sun, dark under the ocean, and how the contrast is low as we’re pulled through the murky water and then high contrast as we’re confronted by the big scary eye. You portray, peace, fear, helplessness, confrontation, and the feeling of finally getting a breath of air, all in just a few frames! Excellent stuff, I can tell a lot of effort and polish was put into this ❤︎
Thank you! I’ve been watching other artists do only 2 colors or “1 bit” style for a long time, and now I’m teaching myself how to do it too!
In a way, yes it’s all dithering, but there’s more to it than just the checkerboard pattern most people think of. You can pick from different patterns or just dot your brush to make nice looking transitions between color A and color B. The rest of the art principles are more or less the same as any other style, the challenge is getting your shapes to read well with only 2 colors. I made this a while back to practice better 1 bit textures if you want to see!

Thank you for bringing this up, I updated the game to prevent the player from getting the same minigames twice in a row! You will now get a minigame chosen randomly from only the minigames that aren’t the one you last played. And I added a new minigame, so the total pool is 4 instead of 3 games. Thank you for playing!
