It's sooo pretty! I love the new changes you added such as new cases for the pocket pet. I also was doing great and won every time now B-) The only thing that confused me a little was seeing the charms from round 1 in round 2. it may have been better to add the new ones on top, but maybe would also miss the old ones that way. the time felt less rushed now but still now slow, so thanks for that part too! overall amazing game and hope you also had fun! <3
such a great game!!
unfortunately i broke the car twice xDD i apologize for breaking the game, i got the streamer curse.
joking aside, this is so cool!! I think you have the most collaborative game in a special way with everyone's stickers. i usually find decorating alone to be cute but not enough to be replayable, so this feels so unique to me. well done!! i hope you had lots of fun as well <3
Choppy is so cute! Here's some feedback from my first playtest:
- In the first screen, it would be nice to have a "press ... to start". Maybe it's obvious in a GB but not in the computer.
- It would be nice to be able to skip the intro for people who are replaying the game.
- After getting the flashlight, I activated it in the inventory but was unable to use it. Then I saved the game, and when coming back to the game, the "Game Saved" dialog box never left, so I was unable to do anything else after that.
- It can be pretty hard to understand what is clickable or not. Some of the clickable places (like to change rooms) seem pretty random and inconsistent. Either having consistent click placements or having a visual indicator of where is clickable would improve the experience, in my opinion.
Good luck with the rest of the development!
I can't wait to see what you have in mind for part 2! Since this is still a rough demo, I don't have a lot of feedback to give you. The only thing is maybe it would be interesting to see my gameplay choices have an effect on the game. So maybe the flowers only grow where I'm polinating them, and not randomly.
I think this is a cute idea with potential, and I know from the description that you will still make improvements, so I will only comment on the improvements I think are more crucial for the gameplay. The adding ingredients to the mixing table is a bit fail-prone, it's easy to put then on the table but not inside the minigame, and it feels like that could easily be fixed with adjustments to the collision areas. For the mixing, I was confused because I didn't realize I had to click the ingredients after I had supposedly added them already. It would be nice to have a progress bar to know if I'm doing the right thing or not. In the oven stage, I didn't understand the purpose of closing the door, or if it was needed, and why the progress bar gets hidden when I close the door. I burned 3 cakes, until I realized the purpose was not to get the green bar to be full. I think those were the main parts that affected my experience. I'm curious to see how part 2 will look!
Hi, I really like this game, especially the art, and I think this would be amazing as a mobile game! I did encounter some challenges with the UI feedback, because when the board is looking fuller, there's no way to distinguish if a piece is predefined or if it's mine, so I wish there was a way to differentiate them. Also at times, I selected one color and a completely different one appeared, so it felt buggy at times. If that could be improved for part 2, I have no idea what else could be needed really. Even the UI looks quite cute too.
Also! For some reason when I finished it, it told me I had 2 wrong moves? T,T I was so confused, how is that even possible? It would be nice to know what that means, and which ones.
I think this idea is cute and has potential, but currently it's so slow that it doesn't really feel like a game. The text is unskippable, and the soot thingies are very few. I think this needs a little more interactivity to be fun to play, but I do think it's a very cute concept and I am curious to see how part 2 will look like!
The art is all so beautiful! The gameplay could be improved in some places such as:
- The arrows in the basket game could be not just clickable but also allow for keyboard input. As a mobile game the on screen arrows make sense, but in a computer it's much more frustrating to play like that. And also, the score has very little contrast, so I didn't even realize at first that I was playing for a score. When I realized there was a score, I didn't know if there was an end goal or if it was just go the highest you can. So it would be nice in each game with a score to know the end goal or current progress.
- The rope jumping game starts out way too slow I think.
- The fishing game is very confusing because everything is so tiny, I didn't even realize there was a hook. It would help to add a line at the top of the hook too, and in general to increase the size of all moving assets.
- The one with the ladybug icon that resembles pacman, I ate all the boots and nothing happened, not sure if it was a bug?
