You're right. By definition most of the VN here aren't indie. I just like to call them like that, and I'm sure it's not misunderstood

Since I really didn't care about indie VN I didn't bother to make myself an account. The reason I did was solely because I really wanted to share my toughts about this VN

I don't have problems with the art style. As a matter of fact, I wasn't fond of this one's either, but I got to like it as I played, and here I am fanboying about this VN.

The reasons behind why I abandoned Extracurricular Activities are some design changes after Cursed Marked (the one in charge of the art and character desings before) and the autor decided to part ways.

EA was at first narrated from a first person perspective, and every time the game showed the MC interacting with others (rarely, and mostly in NSFW scenes) a transparent grey silhouette would take his place, allowing the player to imagine him with the appearance they feel most confortable with. The story has way more dialogue choices and the MC's personality is less defined so the player can make him act as they want to, way different compared with Yuuichi: he's sassy, sarcastic but cares for others, etc. Yuuichi has overall a more defined personality.

I really enjoyed EA because it felt like the story was designed to make me the actual MC, and not make me choose what an already defined character would choose without getting out of character. Both are fine and I enjoy them, but when a VN try to be both of those at the same time... It just doesn't work.

EA went from the 1st person perspective to a 3rd person one. By doing so the autor had to add an actual appearance for the MC, thus making him human. Those changes really messed my immersion: the game's story is designed to directly appeal the player by using the MC as a mere avatar almost without personality, but seeing everything from a 3rd person point of view, and having my character look so... Not like me at all conflict with that. I feel like the game is telling me "Hey! That's you!" But when I look at the MC I really can't indetify myself as him

If you like oversexualized characters and having the MC being an actual human (one of the reasons I abandoned it), then be my guest.

The story isn't that great, but it's not bad either

Tho I like the VN genre, I'm not much into indie ones.

From this website I've only played Extracurricular Activities, which I abandoned after some design changes that ruined my experience more than improving it

I'm from Colombia. I've liked english since I was a child.

As for MC's canon name, I think it was Yuuichi, or something like that. I remember because the author was clever enough to name both Yuuichi and Yuuya (his copycat fan) similar since they have similar play styles, or so I felt it

Your english is nice, not perfect, but then again it's not your native language. It isn't mine either (notice the 3 edits), so it flatters me what you say.

Don't worry about "stealing" my lines xD It's not a big deal, and if they help you to express your feelings then it's alright.

Greetings to you too

Well, since this VN has made it so far, I really wanna- no, I have to tell you that this is one of the best VN I've played.

Many VN uses over sexualized character design to appeal to the audience and make the characters more "interesting". I have nothing against that, and I surely enjoy it when done right. But the thing is you didn't do it and still managed to make all of these characters really fun and interesting. All of them have unique traits, likes, problems, and their interactions are everything but boring. Even the secondary characters are unique, giving a sensation of life and diversity to the world they live in.

I also love the goofy and upbeat tone of the mayority of their interactions. You manage to convey their feelings so well. Whenever they're having fun and joking I can't help but smile, but I also feel sincere pity for them everytime they struggle with whatever problem they have.

The overall tone makes the VN really enjoyable too, and I love those refferences you sneak in, especially the Mistery Food X, and the fact that Jun actually got it makes it even better xD. And there's also the... Foreshadowing that you (either intetional or not) make in some interactions that makes choosing all possible paths a bit funnier.

The way you develop every relationship is also really well made. I've never felt that something was forced or unnatural (letting aside that I hadn't seen Keisuke). You make them go step by step, gradually building up their trust in each other and feelings, and that feels so real.

There's only one thing I "dislike" about this VN, and it doesn't even make it a bad game but instead makes it more realistic. It really makes me feel sad whenever I'm taking someone's route and I see that the other guys are still dealing with their problems. It doesn't matter if I choose them or not, they will be dealing with their problems anyway, and I won't be able to help them all because MC won't be able to know. It's not like I can go all Persona and date them all (see what I did there ;) ).

Overall, I really love this VN. The art, the OST, oh my god the characters. It's sad having to wait a couple months to continue this fantastic story, but a good story can't be written in a single day, can it?

Just keep up the good work, and I really hope to see this until the very end.
