Arch rival love <3

I had a lot of fun!

Missed sound, but really liked the original idea

(1 edit)

Thanks! Wanted to be both original but not too far-fetched

Intense story, love the sound effects!

After a lot of retries I got it!

I would love an easy-mode where you'd have a collection of minimaps that show all the places that you've mapped in the current run, but not necessarily in the correct order relative to each other so that you'd still have to puzzle it yoursel (I do understand while writing this that this would be a big scope increase though 😅)

I got to level 21, but then the lag killed me ^^'

Loved the concept, bit sad that it lacked a bit of content, but counting that you didn't have much time makes that very understandable 👌

wuuuut? the pipes were placed 3 times as close to each other for me 😅.
Only had a score of 2, I thought the intention was to humiliate me, because that definitely did work ^^

Thanks! I really wanted to feel like you're breaking the game when buying the multiplier

preach!

Cool art but it was hard for me to figure out how to kill enemies.

The description says that shooting them with the hart should work, but that seems to often not do anything, is there a specific way I should be doing it?

I love the sillyness, the racetrack really cracked me up!

Fun concept, unfortunately I really suck at puzzles so I got stuck at level 5... Not sure what to do and what it means that buttons appear & disappear in the normal/main world 😅

Thanks a lot!

Super high potential, sad that there's only one level!

I do love the way you did the tutorialization, not obstructive at al and very clear!

They were sooo cute, but the yellow one kept saying these disturbing thing...

Love the bloom, but would be great if you could customize your gamma at the start of the game.
I remember playing this on another laptop just before the jam ended and it being super dark, but now I can see pretty well which felt like cheating tbh ^^'

Love the worms (hate the green rectangle)!

Sad that there's no sound, that'd boost the game feel by a lot I think.

I did really like the shooting & ragdol physics though, although at the start of the game I thought I was shooting shurikens at the well, but that was probably my imagination ^^'

Not sure how I feel about being eaten by jellyfish 😅

I like the concept, I think you could really bump the game feel by adding sound though.

Good job on the art, really love the character's "simple" animation!

WHERE IS MY COFFEE WHEN I NEED IT?

Got a high score of 7589, don't know if that's high, but I am proud of it!

I do feel like it could've been a bit better if the feeling of speed was higher and if it was guaranteed that the level is solveable (ie not fully random) but the music greatly made up for that, great choice and mixing!

hahahaha, sounds like a problem that fixed it self to me!

Got it!

There seems to be an issue related to the resolution on my screen, maybe it might help to enable the fullscreen button on itch (it's a checkbox in the "edit game" part).

It definitely didn't stop me from playing though, and I must say I adore the art!

Done in 11:42, and I made some friends!

Small negative is that when you are totally on the right you can see the edge of the world, but that being said, seeing the background texture immediately pulls you back in the experience.
It's really well done!

Thanks! I did get some help brainstorming on this :P

oooh, so that's what happened!
first time I saw it I chased it and I guess I just kept doing that ^^'
I guess in the end it was more scared of me than I was of it...

Nice vibe!

I feel like you could've made the mini games more challenging or put some pressure on it to spice up the gameplay a bit but I did really like the variation and loved the soundtrack/SFX

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

I'll definitely make sure to put time & effort into more tutorialization and QoL improvements, this jam has been great to gather feedback like this

How dare you!

Guess I'll have to come back to the game now 😅

Thanks a lot, it's my first time making pixel art and I'm not the best at art so going minimal is maybe more of a hack than an artistic choice ^^'

Thanks!

Profit feeling op was actually on purpose, only way I could think of making numbers really crazily go up 😅

The upgrades are more or less divided in tiers where it's really hard to improve more before buying the profit upgrade, or at least that's the design...

Mood

Got further than that of course, but didn't understand that I had to take the dog with me, so I had to walk all the way back down...
Love the concept of a platformer together with the throwing mechanic, but the limitation implementation makes this just a bit too hard for my tired brain 😅

Love the controller support, but looks like I might have just softlocked myself ^^'

Thanks!

I am alive now!

oooh, that makes sense!

back to playing I guess

Really clean platformer, was definitely worth collecting the triforce!

Love the idea and puzzles, definitely the best execution of this type of game I've ever played in a jam!

Aw yiss, love the leaderboard!

I might miss a small sound effect when jumping, but already loved all of the other sound!

One of the great mysteries in life is why "I" asks "Where am I" but not "What am I"? 😅

Thanks for the feedback!

Your subordinates die because you work them to the bones, but I should've made that one clearer.
