Noo! Not at 0m!

Good job beating it! Thanks for all the brocollo!

Tiles! Mice! Relaxing music! This game has it all.

Good work!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, did the paparazzi catch you?

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, those are some good strategies/techniques!

(True rage is when you die at 0m to the final paparazzi just as you arrive in the town)

Such a great interpretation of the theme. I would love to see an expanded version later with more types of quests.

Thanks for playing, glad you liked the frog!

That's a good suggestion, I'll add that in my post jam update.

Thanks for playing! I'll be doing some balancing work after the jam ends, so thank you for your suggestion, I think variable jump height would be a great addition.

Great, I'll try it again!

Oh, haha, guess I was just unlucky then

Thank you!

Thanks for playing, I'll add some of your suggestions after the jam!

Oh, I see, I didn't get that. In that case it might have been some sort of bug, since I waited for about 8 seconds or so but no meat fell down.

Thank you!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Title screen will be added, and the obstacle indicator is a great idea!

The gravity blaster is an awesome mechanic, I love how the physics for it works. Could definitely be expanded upon.

I was going to rate the game but... What was I even doing? I can't remember.

Anyways! I loved this, very funny.

This game is great, good work! I love that you are chased around by cities, because you don't want those, no, you need towns. And bonus points for goo pun.

Sure!

(As a side note: I understand not wanting to ask for ratings for your game, but in my opinion that is totally okay for a game jam. People are actively looking for games to play and rate and you are just helping them find yours. )

Nice work, the game play was fun, and the art and music was excellent!

I lost at the 3rd town with 97/100 but there there were no people left. I feel like there should be enough people in the town to feed the giant, so you don't have to rely on the rng of meat falling from the sky.

Loved this game! Theme and style were amazing. I hope you keep developing this and add more.

I did keep encountering a bug that when I tried to leave the shop opened up a level menu, and then I would click and I'd end up back in the shop, but the menu was still there, half the items were missing, and could no longer leave.

Great work!

Sorry to hear that,  glad that you still plan to finish  it later.

I think scoping the game is one of the hardest parts of a game jam, I find that  making the simplest possible thing is usually the best with such short jams, and then polishing it as much as possible.

I'll give it a try! I don't think it's advertising to share your game made for a game jam, and anyways it's very helpful for people going around looking for game to play (like me).

If you would like to play mine, https://itch.io/jam/jerbobs-silly-game-jam/rate/4426280.

I can't confirm it is allowed but I didn't see anything that said you couldn't. Also I believe jams have the option to lock submissions so you can't change files, so I would assume they would do this if it was against the rules.

Movement felt really good, I liked trying to avoid the flies as  drove around. Good work.

That's awesome! This is my second jam and it's been a bunch of fun. I totally agree with scoping the game, it's one of the hardest things to do (at least for me), and it's really nice to get such good practice from game jams.

I'll give your game a try, looks cool!

Could be because Jerbob has a fly themed game and people got inspired.

Cute simple puzzle game, lovely! The goblin animation  is absolutely amazing. I can't get enough of this goblin.

I would definitely play more levels with some new mechanics.

"I click, and therefore I am."

Really funny game! I enjoyed hunting around to find the town, really fit the theme well. I also liked that friends decreased your time, rather than a separate health stat or something.

I only have two things to mention:

- There wasn't really any reason to use the frying pan, since turning around to hit your friends would make you lose more time than if you just kept running away.

- The hit boxes should be smaller so that you don't run into thin air. (I would recommend looking up Godot y-sorting which is a super useful feature for being able to shrink hit boxes without having any weird layering issues.)

Overall great work!

Very silly game, loved the celery enemies. I wasn't able to finish because I got a bit mixed up on where to go next, but good work!

Cool idea! Felt very nice and polished. I liked that aliens were defeated by taking pictures of them.

Thank you! The dino game was a big inspiration for this.

You'll need to press down arrow when you are jumping over one of the normal guys. This will shoot a star at him, and that gives you an extra jump to use later. Then you can double jump over the big guys.

Thanks for playing

Thank you!

Thanks for playing! I appreciate you letting me know about the bugs, I'll be doing some bug fixing once the jam is over.
