Hi again, I was thinking about your comment and I wanted to let you know I took your feedback seriously. I’ve set up a Ko-Fi goal to crowdfund replacing all the AI art with real art. If enough people feel as strongly as you do, this makes it possible. Appreciate you pushing me on this.

Regarding free art: I don’t believe in asking artists to work for free. The game currently has around 100 pictures, and asking someone to invest that much time and skill into a free project, with no payment and no revenue share, doesn’t sit right with me. I think you will agree, since you care about ethics.
If an artist reached out because they were genuinely passionate about the project and wanted to contribute on their own terms, I’d be open to that conversation. But I’m not going to put out a call for free labor.
For now, my focus is on finishing the game itself. If the art becomes a barrier for some players, I understand. But I’m making this because I want to. No one is obligated to play a free indie game.
P.S.: I also need to be real about what this novel is. It’s an extremely niche NSFL project with heavy themes. This isn’t “portfolio builder” material. No one’s getting hired at a studio because they drew incel guro art for a free game. Telling young artists this is a career opportunity feels disingenuous.
You need two edge points (eg., pick a knife/gun avatar or crack a joke in response to Raven asking about body count or laugh at Cainsaw - edgy options give you +1 point). Then watch Cainsaw’s movie. Click “Criticize” (+1 edge point), then “Roast”.
You need to be a male and acquire Raven’s naughty picture (via HateMale99). In the vip channel, once the official rankings start, call out Raven’s lie. Then he DMs you, and you click “Demand mod privileges”.
As a female, flirt with Raven in DMs. To get him to DM you, you need to call him out (doesn’t matter if you have the evidence or not).
As a male, call Raven gay in DMs (you need two edge points) after you guys already exchanged 🍆 pics.
I hear you, and I wish I could afford one too! For now, this is the only way I could make the game a reality. I’m glad you’re still giving it a chance.
I appreciate your interest! The best way to help is coding if you know how to work in Renpy. Otherwise… Voice acting or translation would be good contributions.
Well, the current version took me 3-4 months (excluding 1 month pause)… So, expect to wait for some time. Currently I have about 20 mins of gameplay done lol.
