This game was very well designed. The art style, background noise, and sound effects all worked together to make the perfect atmosphere. I really enjoyed the player controls; the slowing down time was especially clever. I really liked the instructions as presented as one goes through the game. It didn't feel obtrusive, and it didn't break the atmosphere. However, I could not get a hang of the lock picking mechanic. There were no instructions, and I could not get it to work at all. I think some instructions for the first time could be helpful; I'm sure the mechanic is useable with more knowledge. Overall, this game was great!

This game was very fun! I really enjoyed how I got to upgrade the characters stats and use that to kill enemies faster. I loved how the art style fit the game, and I really enjoyed the animations on the player. The game was not too difficult, and I thought the progression in difficulty as one went through the maze was fair and balanced. The enemies didn't pose much of a challenge; the player was so fast they could easily be dodged. This made combat a bit superfluous. I think the maze was also rather small; I would have enjoyed more challenges along the way.

This game struggled with proper controls. It was hard to tell where the snail was going, sometimes the camera clipped into walls, sometimes the camera was not centered on the snail at all, and the overall controls felt very unpolished. I loved the idea for this game, and the implementation was very nice. The art design was fun, and the objective clear. However, the controls really made it tedious. I loved the different controls for each level and the new abilities the snail got-- those were very clever.

This game was very fun! I loved the art style and the dark dungeon; I was actually startled when the enemies started appearing on the screen. I loved the semi-silly design of the enemies and the sandwich; the game just felt fun throughout. I liked the attacking dynamic and how it interfaced well with dodging. I think the game could have been just slightly more challenging. I also think that some audio/visual cue that damage was being dealt could be a good motivator for the player. The maze was difficult yet balanced, and the time to complete each level was appropriate. I really enjoyed this game!

This game was very fun! I really enjoyed how there was an NPC that was available for instructions; it integrated well into the full game and made the instructions fun. I loved the art style, especially in the title screen and the dialogue boxes. I thought the pacing could use work; most of the game was just walking in a very large map which felt slow. I think the enemies were well done, and I enjoyed the recruiting aspect of the game. I think some animations and more sound effects could better immerse the player in the game, but the gameplay loop is very solid.

This game was awesome! The art style was great, the dynamics and animations were well put together, and the objective was clear. I enjoyed how the art style complemented the objective and challenge. I wish there was music or sound effects to enhance the amazing visuals. I did find the coin collecting and challenges particularly difficult (although maybe I'm not very good at platformers), and it led to some tedious gameplay. The large map really enhanced the gameplay feel, and the differentiation of sections was well done. The controls screen was also very helpful.

I loved the concept for this game, and the art style was perfect. The dark dungeon atmosphere and the art/animations on the player and enemies matched perfectly. The objective of the game at the start was unclear; I was unsure how to access chests, attack, or know the controls for most actions. This hindered my progress and made it tedious. Additionally, the enemies were sometimes buggy and wouldn't attack or wouldn't die when I attacked. The camera perspective and character controls were clear and they worked well throughout. The disappearing walls were especially clever as it made navigating the maze much easier. The keys didn't have any feedback, and it was unclear what they were supposed to open. I think the best way to improve this game would be to add feedback or instructions for the player to allow for a more clear progression.
