Daniel shifted the notepad in front of him before glancing at the clock. His eyes widened a bit when he saw he was running late. Without a second thought, he closed all the books on his desk and stood from the chair. He needed to go back to his house and clean up before meeting Xander at the bar, which was going to make him a few minutes late.

Once he had everything put away, Daniel rushed out of his office, ignoring Mitchell when he asked where the fire was. He left the SGC, and went to the top level of Cheyenne Mountain, and out to the parking lot. His SUV was parked nearby so it didn't take Daniel long to get in and get out of the parking lot.

When he finally got to his house, he took a quick shower and threw on a pair of jeans and buttoned down shirt. With one last glance at the clock, Daniel rushed out and made his way to the bar. He parked his SUV in the public space against the street, and got out. Daniel stood there for a moment, making sure he hadn't forgotten anything before he jogged across the street.

Stepping into the bar, Daniel looked around in hopes of seeing Xander.
