Introduction

The University of Illinois Chicago builds tools that improve the digital experience for students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.

We take a platform-centered approach through Equalify, an open-source accessibility platform developed by the UIC Tech Solutions Digital Accessibility Engineering team. Equalify helps UIC meet accessibility standards, reduce compliance risk, and create a more inclusive digital environment. All source code is published to our GitHub organization.

By consolidating development under a single platform and roadmap, we deliver services more efficiently and position UIC as a leader in web accessibility.
