one bold leaf
flutters five stories, to heights
few trees can match -
the car shudders —
wind
tears out handfuls of petals,
bends trees to breaking -
patchwork of storm, sun
galahs flock, chirp; churning, between
and — the wind changes -
mountain-tops shiver
break-neck through trees, clouds, people
the chill wind races -
the wind brings smoke
sunlight, buzzing bees, dry grass —
and worse to come -
Blustering wind brings Puddles. Dark, moistened earth. Rain — been, and gone.

The unseen wind
Pirouettes in the street, for
Delighted leaves -
Snow in the mountains —
And, rolling through each valley,
A cold wind blows -
the wind shakes asunder
clouds — flowers — errands. making
raindrops and new leaves
