The rapidly growing USC Viterbi department will move into modernized facilities in the transformed Salvatori Computer Science Center, thanks to a $25 million cumulative investment by Daniel J. Epstein.
Applications are now open for the interdisciplinary Ph.D. certificate program at the frontier of AI for decision-making. This world-first program in Operations Research (OR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) trains students doing research at the interface of the two fields.

Daniel J. Epstein Honored  as Half Century Trojan
The event honored Epstein Department faculty Andrés Gómez with the prestigious ICS Prize, while Karmel S. Shehadeh received the Chuck ReVelle Rising Star Award and Shengbo Wang won a Best Paper prize.

Students Andrew Keefer (Senior, ISE), Tyler Milliren (Junior, ISE), and Trevor Wong (Junior, Urban Planning) took home the crown at the Southern California ITE Student Traffic Bowl at Cal Poly Pomona.
