Just Write
Writing prompt for inspiration and a 30-day challenge...
Today I was taken back to a moment in time that left me feeling blissful and inspired.
Inspired to Just writeโฆ
I love it when that happens.
The odd thing is that I have no idea what triggered this memory. It was a fall day, and I was outside walking in the cool air โ unlike the wintery weather here today.
The soft wind was blowing the colorful leaves into small cyclones.
I was wearing my favorite green jacket. It was an overstuffed sweatshirt-like hoodie with deep pockets to keep my hands warm.
There was nothing special about this day.
I had my hair up in a French braid. A hairstyle I often wore when I was a teenager, and later when I was a waitress โ since I couldnโt wear my long blonde hair down while serving food.
The memory was joyful.
I could feel the wind against my face. It felt peaceful and soft.
It was a cloudy evening as the dusk slowly turned into night. I was walking slowly, enjoying the peace and quiet, probably on my way home from a friendโs house.
In reality, the sun is shining here. The wind is crisp, and itโs a balmy twenty degrees outside. Fahrenheit. Itโs cold.
So it was fun to relive that distant memory.
This got me thinkingโฆ
How a sound, a smell, a picture, or simply a vision from the depths of our soul can bring back a memory worth sharing.
It doesnโt have to be a big idea or some life-changing advice.
Just a little something you want to share.
Iโd like to challenge you. To think of a time when you felt complete bliss. It doesnโt have to be a special occasion, a holiday, or a life-changing event.
Just a moment in time when you felt joyful and at peace.
Then โ Just write.

P.S.
Iโve decided to challenge myself to 30 days of writing. As I too need to be reminded sometimes to โ Just write. Iโve personally created 30 writing prompts to inspire you, myself โ and anyone who wants to join me โ to be creative and have fun writing.
For 30 days, Iโll be sending an email at 6 am EST to keep you inspired to write during the challenge. Each day, youโll receive a new writing prompt to write about that day.
It doesnโt matter if itโs 5 minutes of writing or 5 hours. That partโs up to you. The idea is to form a real life-changing habit โ that can change the way you write โ forever.
The best part?
Itโs less than $1 a day to join. :)
Your small one-time investment of only $27 will deliver your daily prompts, inspiration โ from me personally โ and a few cool writing tips along the way.
