Ben Joseph

Ben Joseph was appointed Senior Vice President, Commercial in June 2026, leading core elements of Anika's global commercial organization, including international sales, global marketing, and brand management. Mr. Joseph's ongoing responsibilities related to corporate strategy, M&A and business development, product management, and product innovation roadmaps remain unchanged.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Joseph served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Americas, after joining the company in August 2020. He joined Anika from Mend Medical, a healthcare investment and innovation portfolio company of Ambassador Enterprises, where he served as President and General Manager.

Mr. Joseph spent more than 10 years at Biomet and later Zimmer Biomet, holding leadership positions across the Sports Medicine and Extremities business segments. His roles included Director of U.S. Commercialization and Director of Marketing. In his final role at Zimmer Biomet, he served as General Manager of the Global Foot and Ankle Business.

Mr. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He also has extensive board experience across a variety of organizations within and outside the orthopedic and medical technology industries.
