Welcome to the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh Agricultural University.In today’s dynamic form of higher education, universities are expanding the scope of their degree offerings and adopting diverse educational modalities. While the universities have developed their own systems to manage these diverse offerings, many lack an institutional framework with a clearly defined mission and responsibility that aligns with widely accepted Quality Assurance (QA) principles. This gap can result in practices that lack transparency, accountability and consistency with limited evidence of good practices being followed. The establishment of IQAC at BAU on 01 January, 2015 marks an important step in addressing these challenges. By creating a structured and formal internal QA mechanism, we aim to promote a culture of continuous improvement in all academic and administrative areas. IQAC is committed to upholding the QA principles, ensuring that our offering degree / programs meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. A significant aspect of our mission is the integration of the Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF), an internationally benchmarked national instrument designed for the development, classification and recognition of skills, knowledge and competencies of our graduates across defined levels. By embedding the BNQF within our QA framework, we aim to strengthen the alignment of our degree offerings with global standards, ensuring transparency, accountability and excellence in higher education delivery and meet the expectations of our students, faculty, and stakeholders.With the collective efforts of our university community, we are dedicated to advancing our mission of excellence.
