East LANSING, Mich., December 15, 2025 – The Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP) has announced its incoming cohort of fellows for the 2026 calendar year. Twenty-four promising individuals from across the state make up the bipartisan class for the program, which will begin its 2026 session in February.
In 2024, Michigan's MENA (Middle Eastern and North African) Community played a key role in influencing presidential electoral outcomes within the state. However, with war in the Middle East, will Michigan Republicans face stronger headwinds with the MENA community this year? Join IPPSR on Tuesday, April 7, for a lunch-and-learn session as we discuss the political climate within the MENA community.
