Listens: It's My Life-Bon Jovi

Cool Beans, cool beans

Summer has passed. Another year of school has started. I'm nearly finished moving into my new on-campus apartment, and I love how snazzy and wonderful it feels to have a place I can call my own. Although the room is quite a bit smaller than the one I had last year in the dorms, there is plenty of living space added by the living room and kitchen areas, which I appreciate very much. Additionally, my room isn't cluttered by the massive amounts of junk that I own, due to the even more massive amount of storage place in this apartment. With a huge storage closet, and multiple cabinets of varying sizes, this place is awesome for hiding stuff! Needless to say, I rather love storage.

Anyway, what I love even more about my apartment this year is the people I'm living with. My roommate kalliel and apartment-mate Chang were just in the living room, belting out the (original) Pokerap. Apparently, they both tried to memorize this song at one point. As for me, the only part I know is the very end.

"Charmeleon, Wartortle,
Mewtwo, Tentacruel, Aerodactyl,
Omanyte, Slowpoke,
Pigeot, Arbok, That's all folks!"

It makes me a bit sad I don't know more than that. However, I shall have to make-do with this knowledge, and take solace in the fact that I can always ask my apartment-mates for the rest of the words. Things like this make me so happy, because I know that is definitely wouldn't have happened last year. I couldn't even mention Pokemon, much less start singing the Pokerap.

In other news, kalliel has caught me in her meme. So, I will likewise try and capture you. If you are reading this, you are tagged! And you must do the meme. TAG! Take a picture of you in your current state, no changing your clothes or quickly putting on makeup. NO PHOTOSHOP. Show your f-list the real you!

Unfortunately, there is no Mika in the background, unwittingly captured by my camera. In fact, I think she was singing the Pokerap in the living room.

I foresee a good year ahead of me.
