My old 'internal' Iomega ZIP 250 with IDE port that worked with Windows 7 has been tested with Windows 10 last week, and worked. The Bios detected it, Windows too but no Iomega tool can be used (make a disk Read Only, format in a Iomega way, copy ZIP to ZIP with only one ZIP drive). The same one with an old external USB/IDE interface has been detected with Windows XP (old Dell Inspiron), tools can be installed (ZIP 100 : quick format, ZIP 250, deep format (17 min) or quick one (10 sec)). The 20 year old files seemed to be correct, healthy (old CD-ROM sometimes have problems with their blue dye).
Hi, I have upgraded my PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 and can't now get my 250 .zip drive to work. Can you tell me where I can get the software to remedy this problem?
