Happy Halloween!

Last Saturday the whole inner city of my town had special opening hours until 23pm. They also put up small stands throughout the city where you can buy trinkets and of course delicious food. It's called Halloween Shopping Night. They also have fire-eaters, people in cool costumes and other artist who entertain and scare the crowd. The sad part of it was that I had to work. But instead of enduring the night me and my colleague embraced the night and dressed up as well. We didn't do any bloody stuff, although I wanted to, to not scare off any costumers. I still work in a pharmacy were you expect it to be calm and a bit rigid.

I decided to do a Corpse Bride inspired look.
My inspiration was last years look from Nick, one of the pixiwoo sisters from youtube.

My colleague decided on a look from MissChievous called Demonic Possession.

We didn't scare anybody to death but people came inside just to look at us or even asked for a picture. I think next year with a bit more preparation beforehand we will do it even better.

At the moment my life is still much flooded with work. I managed to see KRAFTKLUB again last weekend in Rostock. The support group VIERKANTTRETLAGER was awesome too. I fell in love and even got my CD signed.

Usually I post pictures and vids. I had my camera ready but I forgot my memory card at home so I just have a picture of me and my company, namely my father and a good friend.

Next Friday I will be in Berlin to see Blood Red Shoes & The Gaslight Anthem. I'm already excited and the memory card already in my cam.

Was bisher geschah...part1

Hallo liebe Livejournalfreunde!
Es ist VIEL passiert seit meinem letzten Eintrag. Am besten ich fange am Anfang an.

Anfang Mai hatte ich die clevere Idee mir ein Tablet-Pc zu kaufen. Da ich in meinem heimischen Medi-Markt nicht das passende fand, nutze ich die Gelegenheit im Saturn in Berlin zu gucken als ich zu einem Verkaufschoaching eingeladen wurde. Ich wollte kein Mac-Spielzeug und das neue Samsung Galaxy war mir ein bischen zu teuer, so viel meine Wahl auf ein Archos. Ich ärgere mich noch heute, dass ich es nicht gleich vor Ort ausprobierte sondern erst als ich zwei Tage später zu Hause war. Der Bildschirm flackerte in grün und weiß und es passierte nix. Nach einer kurzen Recherche war klar, dass mein Archos einen Hardwarefehler hatte. Also machte ich mich am nächsten Wochende auf den Weg nach Berlin um das gute Stück umzutauschen.. Ich hatte schon vorher angerufen damit Sie mir ein neues zurücklegen und ich nicht umsonst hinfahre. Ich sollte mich direkt in der Abteilung melden. Dort angekommen schickte man mich 5 Etagen tiefer zum Reparaturservice der mir bestätigen mußte, dass es auch wirklich kaputt war. Dann sollte ich mir am Servicepunkt einen Schein geben lassen das ich ein Gerät mit in den Markt nehme. Ich kamm mir vor wie bei Asterix und Obelix wo sie in dieser römischen Behörde Fomrular um Formular einsammeln müssen. Es war ja nicht so, dass ich das Gerät schon zwei mal durch das ganze Geschäft getragen habe. Schlußendlich bekam ich ein neues Gerät und habe es mir auch gleich vom Verkäufer anmachen lassen. Es lief einwandfrei. Später zu Hause probietre ich es durch und spielte die halbe nacht Angry Birds. Am nächsten Morgen nach dem Aufladen bliebt der Bildschirm Schwarz. Nach genauer Inspektion stellt ich feest das nich mal mehr das Ladelämpchen mehr leuchtet. Am liebsten hätte ich das Teil in die Tonne gehauen. Glücklicherweise hatte eine Freundin Zeit und ist mit mir nach Rostock zum Saturn gefahren. Dort bin ich gleich zum Reparatur Service und nachdem sie leider auch kein anderes schones Tablet in der Auswahl hatten, habe ich anstandslos mein Geld zurückbekommen. Eigentlich hatte ich die Nase voll von Tabltes aber wir sind dann doch noch zum MediMarkt in Rostock. Dort war durch eine Umbauaktion ein tolles Acer Iconia im Angebot und ich war sofort verliebt. Bis heute ist es MEGATOLL! und hat keine Macken.

Am 5. Mai hatte ich das Vergnügen mir Kraftklub in Berlin in der Columbiahalle anzuschauen. Der Anfang war bescheiden da ca. eine Stunde vor Einlass es zu regnen begann. Als ich dann aber meinen Platz in der ersten Reihe bezog war alles vergessen.

Die Vorband The World Domination war interessant. Spielten sehr lustige Musik. Der Titel "Hungry Man" war für mich einer der Besten. Die Hauptband lies es sich nicht nehmen und kamen für den Song "Land of Cockaigne" mit auf die Bühne.

Als KRAFTKLUB dann endlich die Bühne stürmten ging der Wahnsinn los. Ich mußte mich aller Kraft an der Absperrung festhalten um nicht von der Masse mitgerissen zu werden. Die Stimmung war einfach nur bombastisch. Am coolsten war es als sich alle auf den Boden hocken sollten so das der Sänger, Felix, zur Soundinsel gehen konnte. Es habe ALLE! bis in die letzte Reihe mitgemacht und sind dann auf Komando aufgesprungen. Ach einen Salto vom Rang hat der Felix auch noch hingelegt. Nach dem Konzert war ich total fertig, meine Haare naß und ich wollte nur was trinken. Im Oktober gucke ich sie mir nochmal mit Freunden in Rostock an. Wird bestimmt auch wieder ein Mörderspaß.

Ich versuche hier wieder aktiver zu werden und hoffe bald wieder mit allem auf dem neuesten Stand zu sein.

When I was visiting a friend over the weekend in Stuttgart I took the opportunity to see the White Lies live. I love the band and their music a lot so I just had to when I was in the same town. I arrived 1 hour before the conceret and came in pretty quickly and although some people were already their I got a good spot in second row right in front of the singer/guitarist, Harry.
The supporting act was The Duke Spirit. I really enjoyed them and bought their two albums after the show.
When the main act the White Lies entered the stage the whole crowd was cheering and it never stopped.
I was surprised to find the sound even better live than on the CD's. I was practically blown away and missed them as soon as the show ended.

My Chemical Romance LIVE in Hamburg on March 2011

I just can say "What a night!".
Before it all started I had a pretty good spot in the line before the venue. I stood their for about 3 hours when all of a sudden, just before the door opened, the security said that my line is in the wrong place and we would have to relocate to the end of the other line. The people before me stood there half the day and discussed the issue heatedly. In the end they opened a second entry and so I got my spot in third row in front of the stage.

The pre-show band LostAlone was petty cool and the whole crowd was in a good mood.

When MCR entered the stage the madness started. I had to relocate during the second song to a bit farther away from stage because people jumped around without looking and I was kicked so hard that I fell. Thank good! Nothing serious happened. From a bit farther away I also had a good view and so it was a easy decision to relocate.
My accident was soon forgotten because of the unbelievable amazing atmosphere. I went to my Hotel with a happy heart and awesome tunes filling my head.

Oh Hello!
It's been way to long since I posted the last time and I have no real excuse for it, like I cut off my hands and couldn't type.
Life is treating me good overall and even if my work is hard and stressful, I LOVE IT.

I got my kitchen last Friday and everything is working since yesterday. Finally I don't have to life on fastfood and instant noddles alone. My parents will come over next Sunday to have coffee and self-made cake.

Also I furnished my corridor with nice little shoe cabinet and bought a picture.

It's been again to long that I post. I blame work, my family and me being to sleepy to do anything at all.
Nothing major happen the past two weeks. I didn't grow a second head or anything but I did manage to buy me 2 dressers at IKEA ( I put them together all by myself :D) for my bedroom. The fitting closet is on my to-buy-list when I have money again.

I also bought new shoes.

They got a lot of pretty stuff in this season SALE but I also got me a new George Gina & Lucy handbag from Ebay and now I'm done with spending money this month. I also have to save for my holiday. My BFF and I have decided to do a city trip for a couple of days. Dresden and Vienna are our favourites so far but we didn't narrowed it down yet.

I had a fantastic day. First I meet up with my BFF who was in town for2 days with her boyfriend to visit his parents. I got the most beautiful photo collage from her with both of us during our time at university, trips to Hamburg and Heidelberg. We also made plans to go on holiday next year for a week, only we girls. We just need to find a destination. I like to make a city trip. Rome, Madrid or London are on my list. Maybe one of you knows a good place to go? What should I see before I get 27?
My parents, sister and another very good friend of mine joined us later in one of my favourite restaurant. I think we all had a good time.

Today I got the keys for my new flat. It's only a stone's throw away from work. I certainly post pics in the future.

Tomorrow I'm going to stay with my parents for the holidays. In this spirit

I'm not dead...yet.
Two of my co-workers are sick, we are one short regularly and my boss is cruising through the Mediterranean Sea. I'm dead tired every day because of my workload and at home I can wait to lay down and sleep.
Otherwise there is not much else to tell you than that I got the shoes of my dreams, a new watch, some scratch marks from my little monster-cat and a new pair of shiny earrings.

I VOTED!
This Sunday the election of the Bundestag (the parliament of Germany) takes place but because I didn't know if I'm home I made postal vote. I also obliged my sister to vote because she was very unsure and didn't wanted to. This I couldn't let happen because everyone who doesn't gives the very right or left parties a higher change to gain power. I made her do the questions on the wahl-o-mat site and than she looked into some parties who's answers she are mostly right with and she found a good one. It was funny to see that we have on some topics very different opinions and so in the end voted very different.

At work I finally seem to get new co-workers. We are very short staffed at the moment but we had a new girl for 2 days probation, she starts on Monday, and another woman was today in to chat with my boss and it looks promising. The last days my "old" co-workers asked me several time when I leave and when I said at the end of October they were very upset. I seem to make my job somehow good, LOL. Maybe after I get my approbation I can start working there, this would be totally awesome.

Awesome, were also the new season openings of my shows and some new ones I enjoyed also (Vampire Diaries, Accidentally on Purpose) . I'm not sure how I will manage to keep up with them at all...some old seasons of some shows are also waiting to be seen...but I couldn't, will not quit any of them.

I made a iPod throwing competition today!
I had to make a run for the bus home and my iPod popped out of my hoody and flew some meters before it fell with a klong on the stone floor. Imagine how happy this made me...

My normal morning on a workday looks like this:
I get up take my clock with me and pat to the bathroom.
There I rinse my hand and face with water, brush my tease and comb my hair.
I take off my clothes and climb in the tub to shower and wash my hair.
Climb out of the tub, rub me dry and put on some underwear.
Grab the hair-dryer...
WHERE IS THE DAMN HAIR-DRYER !?!

My sister took it to her boyfriend in Berlin where she stays for a few days and she didn't told me she packed it.

What now? I had to get on the bus 1/2 hour later and start to work a full hour later. I started to waive my hair around, considered for a few minutes to heat up the oven, which I didn't do, and prayed for it to dry.

Well, I looked somewhat decent when I enter the bus... but still wore my huge glasses when I left, HAHA
At work my hair looked dry, it only was still a bit wet in the back directly at my scalp and so I worked as if nothing had happened in the morning.

My sister got a angry call from me just a few minutes ago and here reaction was a little quiet "Oh, I wanted to inform you but I forgot."
Well, yes. I NOTICED IT!

These days I never seem to find the time to check even my mails. First I had the whole week the late shift and from Friday to Saturday I stayed at my parents place to get my hair coloured by my mother and to show them how to operate their new and first! notebook. Both my parents use a computer at work but nevertheless they drove me out of my mind. To make it all good we went the afternoon to the city and had some coffee and ice cream (Häagen-Dazs :D). I bought a pretty new nightgown and some sunglasses which were on sale. Next week until Friday I have the morning shift and so can take off in the early afternoon. I already made a date with a friend and plan on pick up some things which came short the last weeks like being on-line.

In my last entry I gave you a hint how weird some stuff is people want in a pharmacy and I came to think of making it a new category in my entries.
So now: "Weird stuff I sell (1) and...don't. (2)"

It didn't took long and my new modem died on me. I hope the new one my internet provider send me will last l-o-n-g-e-r.

The last weeks at my new workplace just flew by. It's a lot of work, a lot of stress in the new pharmacy but I work with very nice people whom I even was out drinking and having fun.
Customers are strange. Some think pharmacists know everything, like every place where a certain bank is or know every damn salve tubes by colour.
Well, that's all the intersting my ife is at the moment.

wreck of the day

When I thought everything went fine a stupid postcard hits me square in my face.
On Monday (29th) they want to change the stupid water meter and I have to be there.
Which means tomorrow I go to my new home (Neubrandenburg) to come back to Elmshorn on Monday and go back to Neubrandeburg on Tuesday because the last train leaves at 6pm and it's not sure there through with my apartment at the time. Then on Wednesday I start my new job.
I already had all things planed for me to settle in and also deal with the local authorities. Also I finally wanted to go out with a friend to celebrate her birthday and meet another friend, actually my best friend. The last one happen to be here and not in Stuttgart, her live- and work-place, for the weekend.
Somehow I imagined it all to be relaxed and now I see me running around like a headless chicken. Well, I have time to rest when I'm dead right?
Oh, well. Tomorrow I go to the cinema to see both "Transformer" movies in a row with my sis and her boyfriend (His name is Hans! xD). I mean I can pull off sitting in a theatre for some hours after I sat 5 hours in a train, right?

Wish me luck for... like everything that might happen!

My apartment is nearly empty now. The only things left are

I will stay until Tuesday because I have to go to the appointment with the local job centre. I called and wanted another date but buhuu I didn't get one :C and I don't have the money to drive around endlessly. The few things left I take home when I give the flat officially back somewhere in September or before when I have somebody who wants my flat.

Now, I will watch some TV because I'm a bit exhausted from lifting and carrying my stuff down from the third floor. Maybe I will do a MEME later (Is there a good one around?) or read a bit in my cheesy Vampire- Romantic- Novel "Lover Eternal" by J.R. Ward.
