just so you know, I have gotten more into making icons lately and I have also gotten into Masters of Sex. You might see a bunch of graphics from that show from now on.

I am very excited for season two in July!!!

I probably won't be making posts friends only from now on.

Uhm, my tumblr is vanellopoop. I have only changed it a few times, for only weeks at a time, for the past year. I am always going back to vanellopoop. Glad I have found something that I can stick with.

Well, my birthday was pretty good. I spent the day alone, watching tv and eating pizza! :P I celebrated with my family and my best friend over spring break, so having the actual day to myself was actually pretty nice!

Oh, Jim O'Heir wished me a happy birthday on facebook! I added him at the beginning of the year and he actually posted on my wall on facebook! wow

I decided to just start posting my graphics back on this journal. It's not like they get in the way of my ~~~many~~~ other posts.

"fandoms" used (I use that term lightly :P) Broadcast News, Doctor Who, Holly Hunter) One of the wallpapers is actually a picture of Holly Hunter, but I don't know if you can tell. I was trying to do a pulp noir thing and that was also the 'faceless' one.

I made these for the 'Work At Your Own Pace' challenge at Land Of Art. These were made in combination with a team. We had to make 25 graphics as a group.

This is for landofart

The James Bond film released in 2012, Skyfall, meant more than you would think to me. It was a great film that I enjoyed every minute of, but it was more than that. It was an invitation for me to go to the theater with my dad, who I have not spent as much alone time with in the last few years. It used to be me and my dad going to the movies every weekend, but I started going more and more with my mom until I barely saw anything with my dad and we barely wanted to see any of the same movies. I knew James Bond would bring us back together, at least for a few hours. When this film was first talked about, I knew right away that I would see it with my dad and I am so glad that worked out. We both loved the film. It was even greater than I had imagined it would be. It was a beautiful, amazingly acted film that does not get the love it deserves because it's just another James Bond film. This reboot of the franchise has to be one of my favorite things ever. I cannot believe it has been 6 full years since Casino Royale came out.

Pie in the Sky Big Bang

I will basically be using the icon prompts and things to talk about the show me and Lela have been working on. I will occasionally make graphics of the people playing the characters and such.

1. Prompt: Radiohead - Living in a Glass House. and Icon 10
In our show, Pie in the Sky, a large part of our cast of characters are shut ins. Some to more of an extreme than others. The one that comes to mind first is Hale(played by John Malkovich) who is a puppeteer. He used to have a show, Peachy Poundcake, but after it went off the air, he has stayed in his house with only his puppet as companionship. One day, he decides to leave his house and try the pie shop in town. He eats some of the most magical, in more ways than one, pie in the whole universe. The waitresses in this shop are witches and they gave him a slice of their magic pie, to help him out in life. The next morning, after sleeping while clutching his puppet of Peachy Poundcake, he wakes up not to a puppet in his bed, but to a woman. This woman was dressed exactly like Peachy Poundcake and it is shortly relvealed that this is his puppet come to life (played by the wonderful Tilda Swinton) Their relationship is full of experiencing new things and opening themselves up to the world, for the first time or again after being away from it for a long time. Peachy had only ever experienced the world inside the show and Hale has to go outside to show her all of the world. She is so in awe of everything that it helps to make Hale see all of what he had been missing in the world.

Icon 3 and 15
Some of our other characters that are shut ins are two ladies who sit around and drink and listen to old music and knit scarves that go on forever. They are played by Carrie Fisher and Karen Allen. In addition to being a little bit crazy they also have tons of weapons in their basement. The local cops all love our two awesome ladies and they try to help the against one of the higher ups, played by Harrison Ford. I haven't really thought about this yet, but these two ladies probably have some awesome and adorable cats that try to help against the cops and stuff. I really love these characters and I really think these actresses would work so well together. They both seem down to earth and maybe a little bit crazy, when it is called for, and I think they would have loads of fun being these characters, if this ever happened, and I love imagining them in these situations.

Jet: Are You Gonna Be My Girl
My favorite of the characters we created has got to be Pecan, Pecan, and Marina(the first names are still negotiable) I have thought about their relationships so much lately and it all just seems to jell and work perfectly, well as perfect as a love triangle can work. Marina is the cutest and most adorable black widow anyone has ever seen. She is played by Berenice Bejo and I cannot see anyone else as this character now. She has been marrying and killing rich men for years and she recently found another target in one of the richest men in town, Pecan(pronounced Pecaaa. well, kind of. :p) She also meets another rich guy, but not quite as rich as Pecan. His name is Pecan (pronounced Pee-can) After dating both of these guys for a while she realizes that they are both kind of sweet. The first Pecan, who is played by Jean Dujardin, is so so so sweet and innocent and after going on many dates she realizes that she is slowly falling in love with him. I have come up with so many ideas for dates for them to go on and even though they are just in the minds of me and Lela, they are quickly becoming my OTP. I really love these characters and they way they interact wit each other, at least in my mind. Going on dates to amusement parks, toy stores chuckie cheese, and tons of other awesome places. Pecan tries way to hard to try and be romantic and ends up just being adorable and not knowing that he really doesn't know exactly what he is doing and what he has gotten himself into.
