Boy, 12, Sticks Gum on $1.5M Painting
When I was eleven I went on a school field trip to the same museum and touched Van Gogh's painting of the sailor. I mean that kind of texture just demanded my finger! It wasn't until I climbed atop of the Picasso sculpture that I was apprehended. But It was the same sculpture that had been on a TV commercial a year earlier, where all of the kids sang "you gotta have art" as they too sat atop it. Alas my commercial defense went no where with the security guards. Art should be touched goddamnit!
