INRATION is a software package to calculate diets for ruminants, developed by a scientific team made up of specialists in agricultural research at the INRA. It includes the latest scientific discoveries tested by the INRA.
INRATION is a multi-species tool: dairy and suckler cows, growing and finishing cattle, dairy and suckler ewes and dairy goats, which proposes theoretical diets validated by research. These diets can be analysed at the animal and herd level or even over time.
Based on the recommendations of the INRA, INRAtion - PrevAlim can be used for diagnosis, to establish a feeding plan for a particular animal, to illustrate the concepts, the principles or even the practical aspects of feeding and to prepare experimental protocols.
The method of calculation is identical for all species. It is based on the scientific principles validated by the INRA.
The results obtained can either, be similar for all production systems or, take into account the particularities of a species.
