The NextGen Harmonised Data Gateway

Welcome to the Harmonised Data Gateway of the EU-funded project Infra4NextGen!
This web portal provides access to three areas, Variable Database, Harmonisation Toolbox, and Data, all connected with the harmonisation of data on the five pillars of EU youth policies: “Make it Green!”, “Make it Digital!”, “Make it Healthy!”, “Make it Strong!”, “Make it Equal!”.
Variable Database
The Variable Database serves as an entry point to gain an overview of the key variables commonly used in cross-national social surveys to analyse the five pillars of EU youth policy.
Harmonisation
Behind the Harmonisation tab you can find our Harmonisation Toolbox. It contains detailed guidelines in the form of R scripts for the harmonisation of selected variables on all five topics.
Data
The Data page leads you to five freely available harmonised datasets – one on each topic provided by the project team and hosted at GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
