Inferno News & Updates

The Inferno Framework is under active development and has regular updates that make it easier to test a wider range of FHIR-enabled data exchange use cases. The Inferno team will use this space to share recent major improvements to the Inferno Framework, as well as notable updates to Test Kits built with Inferno. The team also provides announcements on the Inferno FHIR Chat.

FHIR Resource Validation DSL Updates

Version 1.1.0 of Inferno Core enhances the FHIR resource validation DSL to apply message filters to errors in contained resources and allow test writers to access the complete validation response from the HL7 FHIR Validator.

Welcome to new home of the Inferno Framework!

The Inferno Framework is a methodology and a set of tools that help you create, share, and execute tests for systems implementing FHIR-based capabilities. Inferno began as a test tool targeting US Core and the SMART App Launch Guide, but has grown into a more flexible and reusable test application framework. We are launching this improved site to make it easier for others to learn how to use Inferno to test their own data exchange needs.
