Why Being A Geek Is Fun
I have to share this because it amuses me and it was the highlight of my day.
I was helping a customer at work today and through the casual conversation you have with them, part of my job is to ask them if they have one of our member/discount cards (in hopes to sell one to them if you know, they don't have it).
Right as I'm asking him this, I hear his phone go off: which is a ringtone of none other than Legend of Zelda's Navi screaming HEY!
And without missing a beat, I managed: "Well, besides the fairy in your pocket, that is..."
He turned beet red as we shared a nerdy laugh together and he went on his way.
I love being a geek sometimes.
