omg the first part of my post didn't go through... here: jordy! it's me, jordy! thank you for checking out my poems and leavin a note on my guestbook! how serendipitous that we have the same name--we're also about the same age (i'm 27), and we also both like shibuyakei music and are making websites in 2025! i just went through your site and i love it--designing for mobile feels necessary in this moment (for better or for worse), but the site looks great on my laptop where i'm lookin at it now. the design is all super sick and inspiring-- the screentones(?) on the pics look great--my friend phelix once suggested i do something similar with the pics on my site. your manifesto was very resonant as well (i'm gonna read that petrapixel one after i post this). my growing-up-online was similar and dissimilar to yours; the veil has always seemed thin--it’s cool that you get to see some of your past work still surfacing online! i'm also definitely gonna look through your code because i'm a noob at html and i've been wanting to make a little update bar, and i've also blogging on my site and i'd love to make a cute layout for it like you've got. (i can only read your first post though--the other links don't go through rn!)

i think the toughest thing about this indieweb stuff (which i’m totally new to, so i'm eager to learn) is staying updated… how will i remember to check your site for updates without platformed notifications?! how (besides posting on instagram (bleh)) do i get people to check my website when i post something new? shoot me an email or a discord message if you have any thoughts--or hit my guestbook again, ¯\_(^-^)_/¯ . cheers 2 rawr
