my spanish sucks now
Because I may not be able to go home this March (hopefully will be able to do so in April because I miss the sun!), I'm thinking of going away to Spain for a couple of days over my two-week leave from week. I'd spend most of it there, but I'm not swimming in money, so maybe just four days.
The thing is, I don't know where to start! There's the Schengen visa, which I heard I have to have proof like a booked hotel to show that I'm not going there and not leave (heh). I heard I can go to a travel agency so they can take care of that for me, but I can't find any! Also, I don't know how I'll be getting around the city because it's going to be completely foreign, and I don't want to lose all the precious little time being lost (in a bad way) and not seeing the places I want to see!
So any recommendations on how to go about this? I'm thinking about Barcelona, somewhere in Andalucia or Madrid, because I have a friend who's in Madrid. I don't know how much time he'll have for me once I get there though. =\

It's so sunny today in London with clear blue skies that I can't help but think of the Mediterranean. I am so going to see Greece next. Or Italy. I love the sun, okay?
