Who am I?

I am a curious research scientist, working on topics in 3D vision, computational geometry, generative models, remote sensing, and deep learning. I earned my Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science at Purdue University, working under supervision of Daniel Aliaga. Then I joined Facebook as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to work with Ramesh Raskar. After some groundbreaking projects, I left to pursue a startup path, which ended with an acquisition. Which led me to find my research heaven in the world's largest volumetric capture stage at Intel Studios. I got my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Electrics and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey. I also did an internship at Pixar Animation Studios, for which I will always stay as a Pixarian by heart.
