I’m a PhD Student at the Nanorobotics Research Group (IDSIA USI-SUPSI), enrolled in the double PhD program at UZH and ETHZ in Neuroscience. I’m working on hybrid ANN-SNN architectures to process frame and event inputs for navigation on resource-constrained robotic platforms.
Before the PhD, I was a Postgraduate Research Assistant at the University of Bologna with the PULP group, focusing on dense 3D reconstruction on ultra-low-power parallel architectures.
I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (2025, with honors) from the University of Bologna. My thesis — “Federated Neural Radiance Fields on a Swarm of Miniaturized Robots” — was developed in collaboration with IDSIA during a merit-funded research stay in Lugano. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering (with honors), with an experimental thesis work on Novel View Synthesis and Computer Vision.
Feel free to explore my work, and reach out if you’d like to collaborate!
