ILC is the UK\u2019s leading authority on the impact of longevity on society and our impact in 2025 was significant.<\/p>\n
We hosted 50 events<\/a> in 11 countries, reaching nearly 3,000 people directly, including landmark engagements at the UN\u2019s Second World Summit on Social Development and alongside the World Health Assembly<\/a> in Geneva.<\/p>\n We gave evidence to the Lords Economic Affairs Committee<\/a> and the Work and Pensions Committee<\/a>. And brought together the UK\u2019s ageing policy and research community at our very successful Future of Ageing<\/a> 2025.<\/p>\n We published 16 reports on issues spanning local economic opportunity, global prevention levers and the future of the intergenerational contract. We launched the UK Better Lives Index<\/a>, and reached millions through media coverage and podcasts.<\/p>\n
