I am a Brazilian visual designer based in South East London. I work in the fields of graphic design, focusing on editorial and digital design. I am passionate about merging the tactility of print with the dynamic accessibility of digital mediums, creating objects that are both visually compelling and engaging. 
Humour and playfulness are a big part of my practice. I believe that design should inspire joy and curiosity, inviting people to explore and interact with the work.
I am also a co-founder of a small print collective called Peas Press, which I run with two other creatives.

Netsukes are small Japanese sculptures originally used as counterweights. Since kimonos lacked pockets, men used to suspend containers in their waist sash through a cord, Netsukes were attached to the other end of that cord. merized by its delicate features, began to collect these objects, purely by their aesthetics. Since its function was left aside, Netsukes started to lose some of their original key features, such as the hole to attach the cord, their small size, smooth surface and compact figure.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The Anti-Netsuke is a proposal to inquire about Netsukes' transition from belonging to a functional, ingenious system of counterweights, to purely an aesthetic object in the hands of those who did not fully understand its original use. Anti-Netsuke is rough, huge and unesthetic, the opposite of Netsukes but still truthful to its original function: a counterweight.

Speculative App created from a brief set in collaboration between Goldsmiths University of London and James Foster, industrial designer for Apple.

BETA Fish is a group proposal for a speculative app which uses citizen science and data visualisation to make communities more aware of the health of their waterways. The sewers live a life of wonder, constantly receiving artefacts from the overground. The health of the sewers is a direct reflection of the lifestyles and habits of its community.&#38;nbsp;With the use of citizen science, our group idealised a kit that would allow the public to gather data from their waterways. This playful data would then be uploaded to the app BETA Fish, which would translate the chemicals into different shapes and colours of a fish- that would then become a visual equivalent of the health of their waterways.&#38;nbsp;

With the BETA Fish application, you are confronted by a creature that is fed the collected community data - it will mutate and adapt to determine its shape and structure based on the information it receives. Human behaviour becomes the variable that affects the looks of the fish. The outcome of this interface involves both the practical aspect of readable data visualisation as well as a better understanding of our ecological environment.

Visual identity created for BRASA Local Londres. BRASA Local is a regional nucleus of the BRASA, formed by Brazilians who study in local universities. In general, its purpose is both to: Connect the local Brazilian student community; Connect this local group with other groups of Brazilian students around the world. BRASA Local Londres organised social and academic events, managed virtual platforms and was an open space where any local Brazilian student could discuss and fraternise. I was responsible for the creation of the NGO’s visual identity, following the guidelines of the BRASA brand, and managing their Instagram account with weekly posts.
