Winner's sister, Brittany Winner, confirmed her sister's positive test Monday.

As shown in North Carolina, the impacts of recent deregulation and ongoing uncertainty at the federal level are pushing states to be more active in regulating the chaos. The best an industrial user can do is to comply with the current regulations, understand its PFAS usage to prepare for future regulation and reduce or replace its use of PFAS where it can do so economically.
The Judicial Council of the Eleventh Circuit in February found that the judge committed misconduct by engaging in an extramarital affair with a high-ranking police officer, having sexual intercourse in chambers during business hours within hearing distance of staff and later lying about it to the investigating judges.
The DeKalb County DA said the law violates Georgia's uniformity clause, which she said requires laws to work the same way throughout the state. It also violates the equal protection clauses of the state and federal constitutions.
Tuesday's ruling granted the state’s emergency appeal to use a map it adopted three years ago that has a majority-Black population in just one of its seven congressional districts. The three liberal justices dissented.
"It ... means that many thousands of cases were wrongly decided, and default judgments were wrongly entered," said defendant-appellant counsel Wesley Johnson of Cross-Border Counselor.
